Vinae, I kinda like the gold strip. Makes it look finished to me.

Beverly, I love your key block. It is so beautiful.

Vinae, both of your blocks are beautiful. Personally, I prefer without the gold trim.

Have been hand stitching, 2 blocks done.

Jacquie I'm going for red on the necklace. Good suggestion.

After looking I do like the clock without the gold. Thanks Vinae.

I have 7 finished. I did not put the gold on the bottom of the clock. I think it looks better without it.

My daughter just gave me some more ideas for what your key can open, I posted them above.
I hope more people will join the fun. There are so many fun things you can make for your key to open.
I will also allow second sets of blocks to be made if anyone would like.

Hi Vinae, I received my fabric throughout the post today. I tried to match up the background to something similar to Denice's background fabric.
I have to say it's not quite the same as I viewed on the internet. That's the risks of buying from the internet I suppose :(
Can I have you opinion please, will it be ok to use? The fabric for the trinket box is ontop.

Thanks vinae! I'm relieved to read this to say the least!!
The fabric did look lighter online :/

Well my fabric is now washed and drying. Tomorrow I shall have time to draw out my pattern and have a play and see how my sample looks.

Great progress 'sew' far ladies!
