Izzy, that's really awesome! Don't laugh but I had to enlarge the picture because it looked like a real Bird! :) Love it!

some real cool blocks you girls are making.

Izzy, is the bird embroidery or fussy cut? it's adorable.

Sorry I have to sit this one out but will love looking at your updates

Here is my sample. Might change the light silver thread color. Need to work on a couple other things. Hope this will work though. Key with the necklace & locket.

Beverly- that is so cool and different!!! WOW! Love it. So pretty, it looks fantastic!!!

Lets all get twisting some arms and see if we can get more to sign up. This is going to be awesome!!!

I just swapped out the pic of my clock with a tweaked version.
Scroll down to page 2 to see it. Please tell me what you think about that. I shortened the key and added a gold trim at the base of my clock.

Vinae I love the gold trim on the clock & you have fantastic fabric for the key! I'm so happy you like the chain with the key!

Thanks Beverly, I think the more I look at the gold trim on the bottom of the clock, I don't like it. I think I will try something else.

Beverly, love your necklace and key block, very pretty!
Vinae, love the gold, it really tires it all together :)

Vinae I think your 'gut' instinct is correct... maybe no trim at the bottom? I think it's because of the roundedness of the legs with the thickness of the braid? If the braid was finer you could curve it around the leg area. Your clock is really lovely without it though :)
'Less is more'... I always think.

I Love the bird with the necklace Beverly!! How about nice autumnal colours to replace the silvers/blues, they would fit in great with all the other blocks with the reds/vintage colours.

These blocks are wonderful! I'm still waiting on some of my fabrics & items to arrive then I can share mine...

Have a great day ladies!! Hugs all, Jacquie xxx

I have nixed the gold trim at the bottom, I just think it looks like too much gold. Thanks ladies for the input.
Beverly if you like the one with the gold trim, I will give you that one. But don't feel like you have to have it, I will make more.
