SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, December 8
Good morning!!
Happy birthday to Tina! I hope the day is full of blessings and surprises! All just for you!
It will be nice when we finally get to Texas and get the computer set up again. Posting from this phone gets a little tedious on the eyes. And the fingers
We will be west of Tucson tonight, stopping early enough to get out our grill. I think we might put some pork chops on it. Bill can handle that and I will mix up some dressing- from a box, of course. And salad. That's the plan anyway. When traveling, dinner can always end up being a hamburger at fast food, or a bowl of Cheerios.
Later!

Good Morning Maryz and Becca
Thank you Mary for reminding us of Tina's Birthday. What a great visit you will have with Tina. Tell her we all love her and all she does for the Comfort Quilt Project. You, too, Mary as I know that you have a hand in helping her. Hopefully Tina will get overwhelmed with lots of donations from our forum in the weeks to come!
Today, we are have such awful wind at Aransas Pass! Won't be using the grill, 'cause the meat would go flying off when DH lifted the lid. LOL. Don't know what I will fix, yet. Maybe just a couple of turkey burger from the skillet. ????
Safe Travels, Mary.
Becca, hope you are feeling better soon. Soup actually sounds good on a cold day. Sending you hugs.

Good morning!
Happy birthday, Tina!!! So glad Mary reminds us—I’m the world’s worst at remembering dates. Have a wonderful day—you’re special!!!
Mary—you’re a great birthday present for Tina!!!
Velda—I hate wind like that! I’m sure it’s creepy in your rig; it was when we lived in the single-wide before we got the house built. I thought we were going to go to Oz several times!
Becca—we got that change in temps! It was 16 here with a wind chill of 5 degrees!!! I don’t like it at all. There was ice around the pond. DH has a cold, and I’m hoping I don’t catch it. Soup sounds really good!
Last evening we had mac ‘n cheese and MAC ‘N CHEESE! We have re-runs tonight, which is just great with me! I plan to be sewing today and don’t want to take time to cook. I’m on Ava duty after lunch today and tomorrow; and I also have Choc and Maggie after lunch today and tomorrow, bed time today and tomorrow, and early morning tomorrow and Saturday. The Hooligans will be having FUN!!!
Yesterday we went to see Ava, then to the bank. The teller opened the tray to take my deposit and sent out 3 treats. When she gave me my receipt—3 more treats! Then I had three more stops, and they were rewarded for not tearing my truck apart after each stop. Are they spoiled??? They have me trained.
Bon appétit!

Good morning!
Happy Birthday Tina - may today be a very special day for such a special person! Enjoy your lasagna!
Today i look like Michael punched me in the mouth. My lip is quite swollen, but the pain is subsiding. Still soft food for me. Kate will be cooking and i can guarantee that it won't be anything that is banned here. She is of the same opinion as Mary on that.
We found a little treasure for our Gracie yesterday. My LMIL, collected cats and as Sarah went through to take some she wanted, she found a Precious Moments little cat. We will give that to Gracie for a Christmas present from her great grandmother who she is named after. The name was right, as she looks just like her great grandmother too.
Well time to do something!
Enjoy,
Jana

Good Morning Everyone!
I guess I forgot to post yesterday. We had Fast Hash. Tonight's dinner will be meatloaf. I have leftover mashed potatoes so it should be an easy day!
Tina - Happy Birthday!! Your dinner plans sound fabulous, since you don't have to cook it!
Becca - Hope you and your DH are feeling better soon.
Vel, Chickie and Becca - Stay warm! I saw on the news that the Arctic Blast is hitting the middle of the country.
Chickie - So nice of the bank teller to give treats for the dogs.
Maryz - You sound like you are getting tired of traveling, however tomorrow you see Tina and get to unload your rig! That sounds like something to look forward to doing!! You will be in Texas before you know it, enjoy the sights!
Lots to do today, so everyone have a great day!
Carol

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, December 8
Good early afternoon from a dreary, cold, Sw. Pa...Gee, COLD it the word for the day, it seems.....
Tina, a very happy Birthday and hope your day (and years to come) are the best....Lasagna and a cake, WOW, it is good to be you.....Enjoy every minute.....And gets lost of rest, Mary is on her way.....
Mary, does sound like you'll be happy to get in one place and stay for awhile...Was really thinking of you this morning when we heard the weather in the PNW...Yikes, they are really getting hit with the snow...You really don't wish you were back home, do you?????
Jana, sorry to hear you're also suffering from tooth problems...Makes me shudder just thinking about it....What a great find in the cat collection...I've been also collecting cats, just because I love those critters but I have a feeling, our Cari will inherit my "cats" when I'm gone...(hopefully not in the near future, lol)....Sure hope you feel better soon....
Becca, Sure do wish I could send down some "healing soup"...Hoping and praying each day will be better...I did see on the news, they've caught 2 young people for starting the fires in Tenn...You just wonder what goes through their heads when they do this, so many lives lost and all that destruction...Stay warm and feel better soon....
Today, Jim and I are going to venture out....We have a few errands and once again, we need to pick up the mail....I would rather stay home and sew but do need to get these things out of the way....Yesterday, we finally made it to the shed and dragged out the rest of the Christmas boxes...The tree and ornaments are still on the porch but I can now say, we are lit! Did the windows and the front porch and it really felt good to have that done...AND believe it or not, all the lights behaved and lit.....
Last night instead of the chicken patties, I made poached eggs, sausage and toast...Really, really tasted good...So, tonight will probably be the chicken or if the car does it's thing, who knows what we'll bring home....I'm kind of counting on the car!
Happy eating..................
