Daily Devotion 8/26

Anger: what is there to say about it except it can consume you. Sometimes we become angry over something someone does and we are unable to let it go. What does God want us to do with this anger?

FORGIVE: yup forgiveness is what our Lord expects us to do. Its hard for many to take this side road; its hard to let it go; its hard to not keep fuming over what happened. BUT we waste more time and energy being upset and angry than we would if we just took a deep breath and prayed for forgiveness for the one who wronged us or made us upset.

Next time you turn to anger be quicker to turn to prayer and forgivness; don't let it fester in you like an illness. Wash it away with forgiveness and prayer.

God bless
Izzy

how true. and as women we can go over things in our mind till they become huge. And that is only followed by unnecessary hurt feelings.

Izzy Anger can consume you.And it causes health issues. It is always best to ask forgiveness like Our Father in Heaven forgives us.If we cannot forgive on our own ask God to forgive thru you & give it to him. Becca

Forgiveness is required of us, so that we may be forgiven. Anger sitting in our hearts and souls is just a sore festering and makes us not a person others want to be around.

Truly forgiving takes time, but we are capable, with lots of prayer and soul searching.

I'm a couple days late reading this, but thank you so much for posting it.
