SUPPER CLUB Monday June 27th

Post by gershwin64 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 6:50 am

Good morning :o) sorry I've been MIA, we've been so hot here, over a week of 100+ temps, I've about melted! We did get about 1" of rain yesterday afternoon, after I had weed eated and mowed, couldn't ask for a better time :o) we cooled down about 15* but I think we're to be in the low 90's today, I'd prefer the low 80's but I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too.
Supper around here tonight will be burgers on the grill and salad and maybe a popcicle :o)

Good Morning Everyone!
Tina - I must admit I am enjoying a foggy morning and very nice temperatures here. It is hot inland though.

Tonight for supper will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green peas and a salad. I made the meatloaf yesterday then we decided to go out to dinner. So I am a happy camper today with the dinner prep almost finished.

This morning I went for blood work for surgery next week (carpal tunnel) and have been tackling Mount Wash. Need to get a few uglies done too. Then go to the gym this afternoon.

Have a great day everyone!
Carol

Carol, ahhhhhh cooler temps....I envy you ;)
Becca, I hope your DH gets to feeling better.

I forgot to tell you all.....Dad was cleaning out a little travel trailer that they're giving to my older brother and there was 4 totes full of fabric and quilt blocks of moms! She called to letme know that iit's all mine if I want it! Lol so we're going next weekend to pick that up and visit and see if they want anything done yet. I say the outside needs to be cleaned up before closing in September but not sure if they are on the same page....

Good afternoon!

Tina - so glad to see you! What a nice find.

Aaron and I are playing with creating his own spice rub for bbq. Both of my boys are getting into smoking meats. I made him tone down the heat in this first batch. We also got too much cumin in it. We are keeping a journal of the amounts. Only made a small batch this time. He wanted to start with huge amounts, but a cooler head won out!

So tonight is my polska kielbasa dinner and tomorrow will be a bbq chicken dinner. Potato salad too.

Who knows, we may end up with a winning secret recipe. ROFLOL!

Enjoy,
Jana
