SUPPER CLUB Tuesday, June 21

Post by purrfect-lady » Tue Jun 21, 2016 3:04 am

Good morning!! Bad Dog Scottie woke us up at 4:45 this morning. I'm an early riser but really!! 4:45?? We are all parked in our RVs on our friends field that overlooks pastures, hills, and the town below in the valley. Birds are singing a cheerful chorus just to frustrate my cats who are running from window to window. Horses are grazing across the road and a couple of deer just hopped the fence. The house is a charmer ( I sound like a realtor!) built in 1897. The yard is adorable with lots of flowers and something to catch the eye wherever you look. Every time we visit here I go home with tons of ideas for my own yard!

Last night they did an 18# prime rib and a pork tenderloin on grills. Side dishes were too many to mention. And they shared their leftovers so no cooking tonite! We are moving 10 miles this morning to the RV park where our RV rally starts today. I can't wait to set up my machine because we will be sitting for five days.

Irish, what color dress are you hoping to find? Long? Short? I hope all the little eagles survive.

So tedious to type on my phone so I'm going away now. Bon appetit' to everyone!!

Good morning!

Tonight will be Italian fare - lasagna with a caesar salad.

We might just have a little mountain lion on the side = LOL - one is stalking the neighborhood. I wrote the whole story over in Sew-ins, so won't bore you here.

Maryz - yummy! Prime rib cooked is one of my favorites!

Irish - dresses are so hard to find these days - everything is pants suits and I like to wear dresses. Good luck in finding just the right one!

Well my sidekick should be here shortly. He has a new squirt gun. Not like the ones we had when we were little, this one is just like a fireman's backpack water cannon. Ethan loves firemen, so he is a very happy little boy with this one!

Enjoy!

Mary sounds like a very yummy meal and leftovers tonight too, you scored big time : ) Their yard sounds beautiful!
Jana yuuummmmmm I love Italian!
I'm going to be doing something with chicken for supper tonight, just not quite sure what yet. It's so hot here I'd rather not even eat. Ice cubes sound terrific to me ; )

Good afternoon from warm but not as sunny, Sw. Pa...We did have a few sprinkles earlier but now just overcast.........And just as I typed that, the sun came out very brightly......

Mary, my heavens, you really had a banquet, didn't you? And from the description, I'd put in an offer for that house...The chirping birds have a way of causing problems with the cats...We have a small window above where I have 1 of my machines setting and the cats love to sit there...Well, it over looks the back porch roof and then a big tree and there's always birds in that tree...3 different times, BabyGirl has pushed through the screen to get, either out on the roof or "just, let me at em"....In fact, Nick and I had just bought new screen, fixed it super good and not 10 minutes later, guess who was on the roof....So, now, along with the window screen, I put in a small portable screen and for sure, she can't get out....Of course, this cat has never had a bird in her life and would have no idea what to do with it if she did catch it....

Jana, I agree about it being hard to find "the" dress and I want a dress....I was thinking of long but I really don't need long so just let me find the dress and I would like something in a fall shade of green.........I think if I were you, and Ethan was playing with the squirt gun, I'd be right there enjoying the spray...Never too old to have fun like a kid...Italian sure does sound good...

Last evening, Jim was having a bad time...He insisted he needed to go "home", just didn't know where he was...A couple of times, we walked out on the porch and I'd try to show him different neighbors but that didn't seem to help..Even said, his mother would be worried if he didn't get home soon...It really, really is sad and it's really hard trying to change their minds or get them to understand...This morning, he said, he needed to go somewhere so we took a ride to Pat Catan's (a huge craft store), and then stopped at Wendy's for lunch....Just that little outing seemed to satisfy him.....
As for our dinner, I haven't a clue....I might do the "must goes" but other than that, those ice cubes are looking better and better......

Happy eating..................
