I remember taking our children to Disney World when they were small. It was the millenium theme there back in 2000. I would make our son who was 10 at the time hold my hand due to the crowds. We stopped at the restroom DH and DS went in and us girls went our way. WE all came out and met at the fountain decided which way to go. I thought DH had our son. As we walked we heard this fearful scream "MOM DAD" You could hear it for miles it was such a high scream. We looked back cause we recognized the voice "OUR SON" he didnt take his dads hand and walk with him and got scared left alone in the crowd. So he stood on the water fountain and screamed for us. DH went back and got him and he ran to me with tears in his eyes. Scared we had left him and he was lost. I hugged him and he didnt let go of my hand any more that day:)
This is how we are with GOD. If we hold on to HIS word we are secure in our walk. But, when we let go and think all is ok for the moment the world surrounds us and we have to find a high ground and cry out to HIM for help. If we would just walk each day faithfully in HIS word we would not ever be lost.
Are you letting GOD hold your hand daily? or are you in fear, worry and dismay without HIM? Grab your bible today open it to the book of ROMANS and walk down the Roman Road to Salvation:)
God Bless and Prayers to all
