Supper club, Mar. 18th, TGIF.......Yea!

Post by Irishgram » Fri Mar 18, 2016 5:18 am

Good morning from a very sunny but chilly, SW. Pa...It looks like spring but we're hearing winter is going to be returning, hopefully for just a few days......

Well, here it is Friday already, another week gone...Days are flying by...
My day yesterday was the best...Our St. Pat's lunch was so good and the company couldn't have been better..Then I went to JoAnn's and made 3 other stops on the way home...While I was picking out my fabric at JoAnn's, another gal was trying to decide and of course we started talking...45 minutes later we were still talking, lol...We talked as if we were long lost friends..I heard all about her family even telling me about her DNA, her surgeries, grands and also that her DH is a professor at the college where 1 of my DGSs attends..It was wonderful...Jim always teased me, saying, we could get a wrong number on the phone and I'd spend 1/2 an hour talking to them....Well, maybe I could, lol.....

Jana, Jim isn't into the March Madness too much any more although I did tell him, Notre Dame is playing late tonight...A couple of years ago, he'd have been glued to the TV and would have known all the teams but those days are gone....

I have a feeling, Becca is taking her walk and probably counting down the days....I know how excited I get when the kids make a visit....

Today, I need to get my Sat. uglies done today so I can watch the kids competing in another robotics competition...AND, this is the weekend, the eagle eggs should start hatching....Talk about an exciting time, don't get much better, lol....

I'm still full from yesterday so it's really hard to think about food but for our dinner, it will probably be just grilled cheese and soup...I do have some "mac n cheese" filets in the freezer that I should use before "you know who" gets back from her trip but we'll see.....

So what's going to appear on your table? Any green leftovers?

Happy eating..............
J

Good morning!

Yea - for Friday! Even though we are retired, I look forward to the weekend. A little free time to myself. But after saying that, my Ethan will be here most of the weekend. Last of the big performances.

Ethan loved the green dinner last night. His favorite was the green jello. He made it and all meal long kept saying how yummy it was. He has leftovers for snack today.

Pizza sounds good to me for dinner and little boy loves his spicy meat pizzas.

The Batt Cave got cleaned yesterday and so did a a large section of the railroad area. Michael even found a missing knick knack for me. Just need to secure the top to the bottom of my new cabinets over in the LA part of the Batt Cave. Then I can finish the organization of that area.

Enjoy,
Jana

Hi Everyone!
I have made real Macaroni and Cheese for tonight's dinner. I will cook some broccoli to go with it and some ***h.

Irish - We did not eat anything traditional for St. Patrick's day. I am mostly Irish, but we are both tired. This week has been too busy!

Becca - So sorry you have cystitis again. Glad you are seeking a specialist.

Jana - You and Michael sound like you have so much fun in the basement. You are always fixing something. Glad Ethan likes green food.

Have a great evening everyone!
Carol
