Oh my gosh, Jules...Mary and Vinae are so right..and I am positive Chriss agrees..:)...your blocks are always beautiful...we NEED you...and WANT you to join!...Please do! I have so much going on..but the jars are really quick and I, myself, chose a really quick and simple RWB block...You can do it!

I just got some RWB fabrics today. Now I can get started on those.
Looks like everyone is getting busy on their blocks.
Lets start twisting some more arms. Only 6 more days to sign up...

izzy i just looked up lemoyne star and it looks like the block im making. the pinterest site i found it on called it shooting star variation. mine is made w all half square triangles.

also was wondering if just 10 gals sign up for RWB, do we each want to do 10 each of 2 different patterns to get our 20 blocks? just a thought.....marcia

ADDENDUM...pinterest also called my pattern ohio star. maybe i will switch to actual shooting star pattern and not the 'variation' which is a little different than lemoyne star pattern...one less set of HST. ill try to get a pic of that pattern instead.

Marcia...I've never heard the Ohio star called a shooting star or a lemoyne star...I also thought the shooting star was an off center star with variable points...do you have a picture?

Sonya.

Of course patterns do have different names and variations...like the churn dash and hole in the barn door.
