Happy New Year All

I just signed up for El's party. Sounds like so much fun.

I was sitting on the fence and 12 patterns for $54 is pretty darn good. So, DH said go for it and choose the patterns you like the best and buy those rulers if you don't have them.

Ready to make time for myself now in 2016, my first new years resolution. Just watching the show each month is at least 12 hours right there so I am on a roll. Ha Ha.

Looks like Crazy Ann quilt will be January project. There are 2 different 'Crazy Ann' blocks. It will be interesting to see which El has chosen!

This will be my first QIAD Block Party. I am excited but not sure about how this works. I am assuming that we will get the pattern and the time of the live broadcast. I have been quiting for many years, I have one of the EARLY Log Cabin QIAD books - not sure if it is a first edition. I am getting back into sewing these last 3 years. It has been great therapy for my medical problems. So excited for this to start even though I have so many projects going already. Just have to remember to take one day at a time so I don't get stressed.

I got my pattern yesterday. funny, the flyer that gives discounts are the same as the sale prices as the website. guess the bargains are for everyone. LOL.

So looking forward to seeing how this ruler is used.

Hi Marilyn,
Welcome. The class will be live at Vimeo at 10:00am and 6:30pm California time--which means 11 and 7:30 for us right now--of course when the rest of the country goes on Daylight Savings we will be the same time as California. Classes are usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and they let us know if this changes! I already got a pattern for January(guess they weren't sure if I was driving in this month). If you miss the 'live' broadcasts, it will be on YouTube about a week or so after class--I usually try to post the link in the top every month for the repeats at YouTube.

PS I forgot to say--the link in the email you (and all of us) received goes to a special sale just for us. If you 'search' for any of these items you'll see that they are not on sale for the general public. Don't delete it if there is a chance you'll be buying this stuff before 31 Jan!
