My block is done. Will mail tomorrow.

Lots of steps to get it done. Pick out fabric, which is still in the guest bedroom upstairs. Go down to Sewing room, cut oversized pieces, then rinse fabric in bathroom sink, go to iron fabric, oops, remember the ironing board is still upstairs. Up, down. Go to cut fabric, oops, cutting mat upstairs. Up, down. Darn didn't bring a featherweight down (Bernina in shop), up, down. Start to sew, Minnie starts squeaking toy, her signal that it's dinner time, up, down. Iron out of water, up, down, for distilled water. Would be nice if I had my rotating mat for trimming... had in Motorhome, up, down, not up, found in stuff from Motorhome, down. Finally get block done.

I come up and proudly show DH that I actually got some sewing done. If you haven't read, he has a cold, shared, and I woke up with it. He was watching TV about when people got the plague, muted, and said the block looks good....and oh, by the way...good news, we don't have the plague. LOL So glad to know!!

Oops, didn't use freezer paper. But it came out Ok. Didn't know we should put our city and state. I could squeeze in, but to be truthful, it would have to say, "Wherever the Motorhome is parked". May just leave as is.

Lyn, city and state are optional. Real name and forum name are what is important to have on your block.

I'm sorry you don't feel well and then had to go up, down, up, down, up, down so many times. Thank you for being persistent though and getting the block finished.

Mary, the up and down is all because I haven't been here long enough to get my stuff back down stairs and organized. I need some cabinets and bookshelves, but stock market hasn't been too nice in the past month! Will make due until next spring. I'm very happy to have gotten a block done! May give me more exercise, but I can get some sewing done! lol

Hi, just checking but... my block comes out as 8.5" finished, and all my inner sections measure correctly (6" finished) before adding the triangles...
Is this ok? It's all signed and ready to send...
