SUPPER CLUB - SUNDAY, july 26th
Good Morning!
I have a few minutes of intenert and I'm sharing them with you. It comes and goes so quickly, and will be gone in a few mintues as we get ready to travel, that I'm dispensing with spelling - unless I find extra time.
IRISH - so happy you found your princess! Does she go outside at all - normally? We lost Riley for 2 days once and I was frantic. Turned out Bill had accidentally locked her in the trailer!
JANA - I remember my parents watched all the ball games they could and Daddy rooted for the Yankees and Mom for the Dodgers. Of course, that was long before the Mariners came to be!
BECCA - Any dog makes more work, but I'm thinking they are worth it!
CHICKIE - You are too hot for me!!
Gotta go! I have no idea about supper tonite. Maybe some leftover egg/potato casserole that we had for breakfast yeasterday here at my brothers. This morning we are leaving for Denali,
hugs!

Good morning!
Mary - sounds like your trip is going well now. Denali must be beautiful. I love mountains! The other day, Matt was coming back from camp in his new truck, turned a corner and there standing in the road was a huge bull moose - the bottom of the moose's nose was at the height of Matt's window. Took some driving, but he missed the moose. Would have done some damage if hecdid hit the moose - not necessarily to the moose, but to the truck His new truck is a 4x4 big dodge ram!.
Dinner - humm.... no idea - but we will eat!
Enjoy,
Jana

Good afternoon! We finished brunch, so next thinking will be dinner... DDIL3 called and said to come get new potatoes. They will definitely be on the menu. Maybe with some grilled chicken and salad. It's just way too hot to cook much. BLTs sound delish to me, so... who knows???
We had Fiber One blueberry muffins at brunch; I even added frozen blueberries to make them more "real". They turned out super delicious. I lost count of how many DH ate. I warned him, but... DGD and I are not responsible for any explosions that may occur later!!!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - SUNDAY, july 26th
Good afternoon from a very sunny, super special summer, SW. Pa....It is a gorgeous day, light breeze and lots of sun......
Mary, so good to see you and your trip sounds wonderful....Any time I get to visit a new area (and most of the time any where is new to me), I am amazed at what Mother Nature has in store...When we went to Reno, it took days for my eyes to "rest up", so much to see..And as many times as I've been to Florida, there's always something new....
Would you believe, I wake up during the night to make sure the "princess" is OK...And no, neither of the cats go outside, only when I carry them out...Kelly had been very feral and I didn't trap her until she was about 3 months old....She's now 12 and if you open the door, she runs the other way..She remembers what it was like to live out there...The "princess" is 4, was feral, but younger when I got her and is more adventurous....She's what the kids call our "fun cat"....
Becca, I do love to see the deer but not what they do to my plants...They can visit my yard any time but I'd like to see them just look at the lilies not eat them.....I also wish you lived close by, I'd drop a few zucchinis on your porch....
Jana, boy, what a surprise to see a moose on the road...So glad he missed it...Around here, no moose just the deer and if you go out in the early evening, you really do have to be on guard..Everyone you talk to has either hit a deer or have had a deer run into their car...It does get dangerous.....
We went to early Mass and then onto breakfast and it was purrrfect...So many laughs, good food and just a great time...And at our age, we might tell the same stories next week and laugh all over again.....Jim is parked in front of the TV, waiting for the Pirate game...He's already had a little nap so he might be able to stay awake for half the game, lol....I'm thinking of getting my book and heading for the porch..Almost too nice to stay inside....
As far as dinner, I'm thinking like Becca, chicken on the grill, with some roasted veggies...Also have ice cream and cookies for afters.....
Happy eating..............
Anyone heard from Lady Carol....I sure do miss her posts.....

Re: SUPPER CLUB - SUNDAY, july 26th
I'm sliding into my chair. I've been extremely busy this week, I really need time to slow down.
I have chicken thawing for supper and see I'm joining most in that supper choice
mine will probably be on the grill too
We had a spectacular lightening show last night! We did get some rain too
When we were camping I was out with the dogs before the sun came up and all of a sudden Duncan stopped walking and stood perfectly still, I looked and there was a deer about 20-30 feet behind us, she was watching us watch her, then a smaller one came and joined her. I thought it was great that Rosie and Duncan didn't bark
