Here is my Dresden...I am not over-thrilled with it but perhaps it will look better when it is done..there are pins in it so I can go ahead and hand applique it down..I will use black thread and tuck the white part of the interfacing..in hindsight I should have used black..been a long time since I used my black..I had better look for my stash..:)
I will machine applique the "curves."..I used stick and hold after revising the template. It worked ok..I just didn't feel like making another set of the curves the other way again..anyway..it's good enough for who it's for..:)...thanks for looking...Sonya.

O Sonya Very pretty. I just started mine. Been working on a blue set of blocks LOl I will post a picture of Dresden when I get block done. I have always wanted to do the block of the month with El and decided even though I am really busy I will get this done. You know mind over matter LOl.

It's gorgeous!! I did one on black background a year or so ago using El's fan templace ruler. I think I did 12 blocks, may have been 20--still not quilted, LOL:

Thank you all for the compliments on my block...:)...I haven't decided if I am going to use this fabric in the sampler quilt or not...still contemplating...
Sally ....Goodness!...that block is beautiful. I agree with Izzy.. ..you really need to finish that quilt!...oh my please post a pic when you finish it!.....Sonya

dresden crazy:) lol I have 12 made and loving them and think I may make more:) I will have to see how much of the red for points I have left:) they are just laying on the muslin now. I will start pinning them down and then work on hand stitching them down:)
