Supper club, June, 12th, Friday.......

Well, once again, Mary is missing in action....I had stopped in earlier and then did see that Mary would be having a busy day, picking up the truck and having company for dinner.....

We're having a summer day in SW. Pa...Warm, sunny with a slight breeze and just plain darn nice but I'm sure Joanne isn't liking it.....

Jim had an early foot doctor's appointment this morning and then we stopped at Aldi...In fact, we got there before the store opened and spent 10 minutes chatting with other early shoppers...You meet the nicest people shopping at Aldi...

This afternoon, neighbor Ted and Jim were working on some plumbing stuff in our basement...When those 2 get together, you never know what might happen, lol....But, we call Ted, our superman, he can do anything and everything...Good to have a neighbor like him....And his wife is a super gal....

Jim got his Father's Day gift from Kathy, delivered by UPS....Not only will Jim enjoy, but I get in on the act also...She sent stuff from Omaha Steaks and let me tell you, that box was huge...My freezer is full and now I'm worried about Mr. Schwan coming on Monday...But, you don't think I'm going to cancel seeing Mr. Schwan, not on your life, lol......But, this family will be eating good for quite awhile.....

Which brings me to dinner...I am making the real mac n cheese and since Mary isn't here and I know no one will tell on me, we might have some stuffed sole.........In this box there is even desert, so no baking for a day or so.....

Irish You can eat well now.Sounds like a great gift & you even benefit too.And that neighbor sounds like one we could all use.

Our neighbors come to visit this afternoon.They just got here from FL a few days ago.

I cooked DH the butter beans he loved.And he likes bacon with them..I had broccoli & turkey smoked.Cookies for afters.DH had apple pie......Becca

I'm late! We just had pizza and a huge salad. Pizza was left from last night's, and DGD made a delicious salad.

We've had fun today! She started making a jelly roll race quilt, and I did mending for her mom and cut off a pair of jeans for DGD. We have had tornado warnings for the county, but further investigation found them south and east of us and no danger.

I do like liver and onions--fixed RIGHT! I used to crave it and could almost eat it raw. My cravings disappeared when I ws no longer anemic. I was craving that iron in liver!

Chickie Our DS crushed his leg ,fell off ladder 30 ft. Onto concrete.He lost so much blood that he craved meat & liver until he got his blood built back up.Your body does that.

Know you are happy to have DGD visiting.Have fun as they grow up too fast.

I am waaay late tonight! Traded Ethan for my othrr other 4 grands for a couple of hours. Dinner is banned noodle casserole - they love it! We are have applesauce as well.

Had a storm blow through here a bit ago. I imagine it's headed your way, Irish. Calzones again for us tonight and I made banana bread for afters but it's going to be a bit before I have room.

I can't say as I have ever craved liver. Even when I was anemic which is pretty much always. I do crave raisins and prunes at times. Those will fix anemia too and are sweet.

Omaha steaks are always a nice gift to get but I can never bring my self to buy them for us. I need to raise a calf for the freezer. That would be cheaper. Well, maybe not. The kids would raid our freezer and take all the steaks. I should rethink this.

I made homemade pizza tonight. We're babysitting Jazmyne and Easton, they love pizza and mine and Frankie's was really thick with veggies, veggies, veggies thought that would help balance it out and the crust was really thin
