Tina- yes, I am so excited for this Christmas swap. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these colors and I think it will be my favorite Christmas quilt when it is done. These warm colors just feel so cozy, and really make me think of an old Victorian Christmas from the 1800's or something. :)

I'm trying to post from my phone, so I hope this 'goes'. Here is the prototype of my nutcracker. I think he needs eyebrows though.Image

Tina please go ahead and add my name to the list before I lose my spot. I am still sorting through fabrics It looks like I have come that will work. I do need to calculate the estimated yardage for the twenty blocks to make sure I have enough. I will get back to you to let you know if I'm short or not.

What??????????? I know I am short, but I mean the fabric, lol.

Tina- beautiful sashing fabric. It is just right.

MaryZ- Your nutcracker is just adorable! Such detail! Wow! I really like the fabric you used for the skin. It looks so realistic. I have to find some good skin fabric for my Santa face.

Becky- I am with you. I love to see everyone's out of the box ideas too.
This is going to be such a fun swap. And wow it is sure filling up fast.
