well....at the moment of writing....there is no one at the table.....by the time I finish(I"m rather slow)....the table will probably be full up.....

one of those days...I"m getting a lot of those lately.....where the time goes quick....on the go all the time....and getting nowhere fast....

Carol--those are so much fun! Your dinner sounds delicious! I want to come and stay with you!!!

Mary--what great finds at Goodwill. I hate that my DD is working now... I haven't been "picking" since she got her new job. Meatloaf sandwiches are better than the first time around as far as I'm concerned.

As for dinner here... Maybe the last of the potato soup... hard to get in the mood to cook.

Gen. Lady Carol, thanks for stepping up while I was off goofing around! I like your pleurals - a "multiplying" of husbands! lol! I wonder what a batch of wives is . . .

CHICKIE - your potato soup sounds as good as Carol's quiche. I forgot to add to my list that I picked up 7 little pie pans at the Goodwill, too, so I could make a lot of little quiches!

But for tonite, I'll stick to my hot meatloaf sandwiches, maybe with gravy, maybe without. and a salad.

Mary - a batch of wives is TROUBLE for the husband! LOL

Chickie - I could go for a bowl of potato soup - but it is not one of DH's likes and is like pouring pure sugar into him. Potatoes are not good for a diabetic.

Dinner - we will try again for those tacos. Didn't cook them last night, so will try today.

Boy, Potato Soup sounds so good to me. Maybe I will have to put that on my menu, next time I grocery shop.

For us, tonight, left over Taco Salad. We never just eat tacos. We always make it into a salad on our plate by Crushing Taco chips, then layering the goodies and add a bit of sour cream, taco sauce and I got used to using a dab of french dressing.

Some restaurant had it served that way, and boy, did I like it. So now I always top mine off with a dab of french dressing.

Now, I am hungry!!!! Time to go heat it up and get fresh lettuse shredded. Yummmmm. I love Taco Salad.

Tonight was leftover night...and there are still leftovers! Earl's daughter stopped to eat some, but not enough..lol!

I posted yesterday under Monday, as well as Tuesday. I double checked with my DH and a group of cats is called a "clowder". We first heard the term on "Big Bang".

Tonight's dinner will be a forbidden food (poached).
