Well, Joan..this was an interesting experiment..my block measures just a teeny tiny less then 6.5"..hardly enough to even say because it can be stretched ever so much with no problem to accommodate that (not even an eighth of an inch). I don't like stretching though..anyway..the ONLY thing I did different is that I used the true quarter inch programmed into my machine..figure since it was a full half inch off that may have made a difference because I used the scant that measured 4.5..For the future I am going to see what happens moving it over one push of the button to 4.0..if I would have done it with this block it made have been able to be squared up to perfect..I also changed around the piecing instructions and made the center pinwheel first and then attached the finished triangles..anyway..I do like the block..as I did in the FW...but I am glad I am finished with it..:)..now to my other projects..foremost my vessl swap blocks..:)..here is Peace and Plenty..thanks for looking..Sonya.

Thank you Sonya. I will be very careful sewing it this time and hopefully it will be the correct size! I really like the block, it's just too big!

OK, I got Granny's Favorite done...no problems. Made Memory Chain...went together like a charm, however, it is too stinkin' small! grrrrrr! Guess I will try again tomorrow.

Okay, so I totally remade the block H7 and it still came out bigger than 6.5 inches! Maybe I'll try it again, but not right now. So here are my 3 week 7 blocks for now.

Joan, your fabrics are gorgeous!

I finished up my blocks and, yay, my memory chain came out the correct size! I forgot to take the camera upstairs so I will post a pic later.
