Ok I am addicted to these blocks.....and paper piecing....that block went so fast. I whined and cried over paper piecing last year....so not to let something get the better of me I took a 2 hour class...and now i have it....Tina it isn't that hard and you can piece little tiny pieces with out stress....I even sewed them with 8th inch seam allowances...who knew....I hope there are more in the book....

WOW - some wonderful blocks. Love the fabric choices. Better get a move on before I am really really trying to catch up :) :)

My great plans just got changed. My sweet Courtney would like me to add blues and browns and make the blocks she chooses in 12" not 6". So when we go on our trip east I will take the book and we will go through it and pick the ones she likes. Sounds like FUN to me :) :)
I will be watching this Sew-along as I love the blocks you have all been making and I really need a stash buster so as time permits I will be playing with some cotton :) :)

Happy Stitchin'!!!!!

Beautiful blocks, Ladies!

Well I finally finished Week 2 last night and posted. I have come to appreciate paper piecing. I am really surprised. Thank you all for tips and for the suggestion to watch the connecting threads video. It was really good and helpful.

On to week 3! I have selected fabrics, but I was too tired to start sewing last night.

April
