What a delightful surprise to wake up to!!!! Thank you for picking me. I am certainly smiling this morning. Can't wait to see everyones pretty blocks.

Congrats to Flo too. Great way to start the yr with blocks already made for a nice quilt. This is such a colorful block, should make up into a really cheerful quilt.

My sister was so impressed with the pics of blocks when I told her I was making some too and ask her to check out this thread. Haven't told her yet that I won some of these little beauties. May have to make it into a quilt for her.

Thank you Teresa and thanks everyone who participated. I just might have to start taking a second look at these monthly lotto blocks. It is exciting when you enter and wait for the drawing.

Teresa, Believe it or not, my blocks arrived in the mail today,Mon. That was certainly quick. Wasn't expecting them for a few more days. Such a fun surprise in my mail box.

Thank you everyone for all the delightful blocks you made. I finally layed them all out across my couch in 3 rows. Had 3 with no label but figured out from going on this thread that they were made by Lori and Valerie, I think. Such a nice variety of colors too. Nice job ladies.

I was pleasantly surprised at Rod's reaction. He had been working on supper and came into living room to see what I was doing. He had seen the envelope when I came in and I know he was shocked at how many blocks were actually tucked inside. He stood there looking them all over, commenting on various ones and diff fabrics in them.

Then he pointed at 3 in a row and announced that he liked those the best. I smiled when I looked at them. All made by Flo. He really liked the colors you chose, the darker more manly colors I think. Some more like that would make a very nice masculine quilt.

Then I went to get my camera. When I returned, the cat had been sitting on the couch arm but was now trying to crawl under 2 of the blocks. I rearranged then & snapped a few pics but not before she grabbed one, pulled it partly under her, and layed down.

I went to see who made that one and other one. One was Flo's, the other was Teresa's. Guess she liked those the best. So ladies, your blocks have now been hubby approved and cat approved too. LOL

When I figure out how to get the pics out of the camera into my computer, I will email to Denise or someone to post them. When we updated to Windows 8.1 or whatever it is, messed up our photo apps or something. But I did take pics, cat and all.

Thanks again everyone for a fun Lotto. May try another one but doubt not this month. Too many dr apptmts coming up right now for Rod. May need hernia surgery, among other problems and probably more therapy too.

Well, if I am good at something it is Forgetting to put my name on these lotto blocks. Not sure why my brain won't cooperate but it doesn't. Glad you were able to figure it out. Can't wait for pictures.

Oh my, Oh my - some heavy duty prayers have been happening here in CA.
The tracking on Flo's package said she could pick it up on the 2nd but it was no where to be found.
Today is the 10th and after numerous calls to my PO and to her PO - SHE HAS IT IN HER SWEET HANDS - YEA!!!
Breathing now continues at a slower pace

Flo, I like the way you put yours together. I am still trying to figure out a pattern with mine. I thought about a small strip between each row just to break up some of the stripes but not sure yet. Someone posted a red/white quilt with polka dots in borders and in between. I liked that too but not sure it would look good with this block. Too many things going on right now to think about a quilt layout. Rod's surgery is tomorrow so won't get anything done for awhile until he heals up.

Thanks for showing us your quilt. Gives me an idea of what I can do with mine. Teresa, Thank you for posting it too.
