SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Nov 2nd

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun Nov 02, 2014 2:40 am

Happy Sunday! Did the clock thing get you? It sure did me! Not to worry - Scottie wouldn't let me sleep past anything!

Today is going to be filled. Breakfast with my brother, then vacuuming, laundry, baking, cleaning, Seahawks, and finishing up with dinner with Warren - at the Assist'd Living Facility. The LQS where the big 40% sale starts next Tuesday let me in to shop early. the owner gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek and said, "It's a customer appreciation event. I don't care WHEN you shop." She is such a sweet lady. So I spent a very happy hour in there and got a pile of quality fabric for approx $5/yd. DH is happy 'cause now we can hit the highway tomorrow instead of waiting an extra day. And as I warned in the sew-in, I've got "Cotton", my 2-headed grizzly dragon who lives under my cutting table on alert, guarding my stash! Just in case anyone was planning to 'visit' while I'm gone.

So - no supper-cooking tonite for me! But in case I don't get here tomorrow morning - we're going to have homemade pizza in the trailer for Monday's supper. I'm going to make the dough today and put it in the fridge.

Now, I'll be around but maybe not as regularly as usual for the next few weeks while we're on the road. But don't hold supper for me! you all go ahead! And someone see if they can find Lady Carol! maybe she's busy working on her Celtic Solstice quilt!

Good morning, Mary! We had ham and beans last night and brought home left overs, so it will be that here for us.

Sounds like you are ready to hit the road--lucky you to get in a shopping spree before you left!

Your day yesterday sounds much like mine, and it is going to be more of the same here today. I was sorry to have missed the extra hour of sleep, but I really need to get some things done here. I'll be sleepy tonight.

Have a super day!

Good morning,

We had pizza at the party last night, came home and started the turn back of all the clocks/timers in this house - the wind up clocks are the worst, we stop them, then forget to restart! LOL Got them done and I enjoyed the extra hour.

Dinner could be anything from chicken to pork chops - both are lurking in the freezer - we will see later in the day. I found on Pinterest a lemon loaf cake that I will make this afternoon. Looks yummy.

Enjoy you travels Mary and be safe. Glad you leaving after all this wind - it was bad for rigs with trailers.
