a gift for IRISH

As I think everyone knows by now, our sweet Irish lost her son yesterday, Oct 29th, after a 7-month battle of serious health problems. I would like to make her a comfort quilt and invite everyone to send a block if you would like. If we get enough blocks, I'll put together one for Kathy, Chris's wife, as well. I will be in Texas by Nov. 19th and will be there for 2 months so blocks need to be sent to me c/o of my DD. PM me for her address.

Color - Any fabric in shades of green with cream or white.
Block Size - 12-1/2"
Pattern - your choice
Deadline - I'm not giving a deadline but hope to have all blocks to me by first of December. IF you can't make it by then, please PM me. I can be a little flexible

You are very thoughtful and kind to start this and for letting us all help. We have to let her know this quilt when wrapped around them will be like a huge loving hug from all of us.

2 QIAD Friendship blocks made. I let Ysabel know and she is making some also. Will mail them all together.
