Supper Club - Friday, October 3
It's blustery here today. The winds have brought much cooler temperatures. I'm going to have to think of bringing in my pots of flowers to winter in the sun room.
I'm thinking this would make a great chili night. I have a half a sandwich from dinner last evening that I could keep for lunch. A pot of chili or ham and beans would hit the spot tonight.
I looked on FamilySearch while it was raining yesterday and I had everything unplugged. I found my dad's parents, but I couldn't find the generation back from there. I'm still going to look some more.
We had a fun time last evening. It was a sports bar/grill, and I saw where the Orioles humiliated Detroit. The Royals were ahead by one, but I didn't hear the ending. I need to look it up. It's been a long time since they went to any post season play (1985). I remember when the As left Kansas City for Oakland and when the Royals became the KC team. I used to get to some games but haven't been in ages. DH is so not a sports person. I ruined my late DH with baseball when I booked a double header Royals games for our honeymoon. Both games went into overtime. A little frustration on his part. We did go to more games--just not double headers. I thought they were great bang for the buck!
What are you having for dinner tonight?

Good afternoon from no longer sunny, still warm but clouding up...The winds are starting to pick up here as well and temps will be dropping.....I've already brought in my few house plants...I've cut down on the plants only because of those darn stink bugs...Although we've had very few, they are starting to cling to the screens and bury in the potted plants...I don't need to find them in the house in the middle of winter.....
I took a quick trip to Aldi's and to pick up a new RX...I don't know how 2 people can go through so much food when half the time I don't cook....
And, Becca, I think maybe you're a bad influence on me...I made it passed the 1st Subway but when I got the the 2nd one, I had to stop...Jim laughed and said, this is getting to be a habit....
We went to a dinner last night, the food was wonderful and what we ate, we shouldn't be hungry for at least a week....BUT for dinner (and since the "chief cat" is away) it might be a banned food...I have 3 in mind, just need to decide.....
Happy eating................

Good afternoon,
Our Popeye's here in Herriman opened last night, so today for lunch, Sarah and I stopped off. I have leftover chicken tenders, that will become part of a salad tonight. Our little town is exploding in houses and new places.
Not much exciting here, baseball game is on and it is a nailbiter!
Enjoy,
Jana
