Good Evening All.....Blimey where is everyone....looks like I am first ....unless someone writes quicker than me......

weather not bad today....but apparently Christobel is on her way.....so it looks like high winds are in our future......

yesterday was one of those days where I was so busy and not getting anywhere.......sat down to watch TV news fell asleep....woke up in time to go to bed......

Todays menu......Ham and Chips grilled Tomatoes......Rice Pudding for afters......

Good afternoon from warm, sunny, SW. Pa....I was just as surprised as you, Carol, did everyone go on vacation and didn't tell us.......

I imagine, Mary is bogged down with getting ready for the carpet...Lots of work but so worth it, after it's all done.....

Carol, your yesterday sounded a lot like mine...I did have a busy day, didn't really get anything accomplished but boy last evening, I could not keep my eyes open, no matter what I did....Finally, took a long bubble bath and went to bed and I don't think I moved all night.....Every once in awhile, things catch up with you and the body just needs a good rest.....

Now today, been working outside and will be good and tired, once again....

Jim just said, he wanted hot dogs....Not sure what he'll get with them but hot dogs it will be....I found another zucchini hidden in the garden and I'm wondering if some how I could do a sort of "hot dog wrap"...Thank he'd notice????

Good afternoon,

Been out running with Sarah and painting a test sample of the siding on the barn. DH finally likes the color I want, so I now get to do the painting - oh joy! It will take me awhile, one side at a time and Sarah will do the tall upper portion, as I don't do ladders! Then the white trim.
Dinner - since I am now painting, my fee is dinner out! Will be that for the indefinite future! LOL

Good late afternoon! I made a decorated cookie for a DGD having a birthday tomorrow. The dogs and I just delivered it, and she is having a party this evening. Hope she likes it.

Soon we will be taking Tinker Bell to the vet. She has a big lump on the side of her face. I'm hoping it is only a cyst and he can take care of it quickly.

Carol--Hello to you! It's nice to see you set the table for us!

Jana--we have to sell the guys on the colors we want. I have to here, too. My DH is color blind, yet he wants to pick... YIKES!!! When we got married, everything clashed violently in different shades of red. He thought it was wonderful. It was kind of difficult to get him to change... Actually, that was a good thing to come out of the fire--I picked the colors in the new house.

Irish--I'm thinking if you throw the zucchini on the grill, you can tell your DH it's a big green hot dog.

As for our dinner... it will be re-runs of last evening's Cajun beans and rice (with some lentils thrown in).

Tomorrow I'm going to the quilt show to see all the quilts and DGD's two that she entered. I'll be bringing chicken home with me. Mom has put in her order, so I'll drop a dinner off to her on my way by there.

I probably won't make it to the table, but you know what I'll be eating!

We ended up going out to eat but I didn't enjoy it, DH was in a bad mood. Oh well.
