IF INTERESTED IN LUB sew a long

Let me know if anyone would be interested in another sew a long . This one would start in January . We would be working on The Loyal Union Sampler by Jennifer Chiaverini. It can be done in scrappy ,civil war or any other fabric you like. Three blocks a week
until completed. You would need to post a picture of your three blocks a week like we did for Sylvia's Bridal Sampler . .
This will be fun I promise. Leave your comments.

I am tempted to join if you wait until January. Is there a lot of paper piecing involved? I don't have the book yet, and the description of the book mentions paper piecing.

Oh Kathy If and really IF I am done with SBS by then I may watch and make a 12 inch of one of the 3 blocks you post:)) I dont think I can do these 6 in tiny blocks again LOL. But I will come and see if I can find a 12 in of one and make it:)) I dont have this book and am making do with what books I have for a while.

O Izzy your wasting all that practice you done in the SBS quilt. LOL There are only 14 paper pieced blocks. I do wish you would join us.
I dearly love your comments. And I too have to finish my SBS quilt .
That is one reason not starting until January.

I'm very interested in another sew-a-long. I'm like Izzy, those 6 inch blocks and paper piecing aren't my favorites, but I can manage them.
I don't have the book, but I'll look online and decide if I will be joining. Sounds GREAT. I love sewing with a group.

There are only 14 paper pieced blocks. Some can be done without paper piecing.

I am interested and will be joining you gals in January with the LUS (Loyal Union Sampler). I will purchase the book and more fabric for my stash - I feel like an outing at my LQS. Ohhhhhh, so excited!!!!

I'm thinking I might play along. I have the book and want to do it in blue and white OR since I have already started the Farmer's Wife maybe I can do 3 blocks a week along with you. Will see what life has in store by January.
