I have my blocks and sashing sewn together and now just have to add the 2 plain borders. I am keeping it real simple and hope to finish it soon. The pears and peaches need to be canned first! Hope to post my picture soon!

OK....got my blocks together. I used 120 of them as it fit my bed perfectly. I should have taken a better photo as you can't really see my borders. Maybe you can see them at the top a little. Yellow border then orange/red border. I kept it simple since the blocks had so much going on in them. I am so happy with this quilt! It was so much fun doing it....no it is not perfect but then neither am I! Thank you Tess for all the encouragement! I would never have thought I would have finished this. I can't believe you can cram that many pieces into a 6 inch block! haha Now I need to decide on how to quilt it this winter. I think I may just do stitch in the ditch and do something fancier on the borders....any ideas gals on how you will finish yours?????

Susie your quilt top is BEAUTIFU!!!! Your colors and blocks, oh my, they are perfect. I think quilting in the ditch would be wonderful, I was sort of thinking about Baptist Fans for my quilt---that's fast and easy. Love your quilt, you should be proud on your finish.....

Send me your address and I'll get your gift sent your way.

WOW - WOW - WOW!!!!!! I just have to say it one more time - WOW!!!!!!
I have been lurking here and there as you pieced them but never imagined how FABulous it would turn out. What an AMAZING Work of Art to treasure for a long time and I bet it is even more wonderful in person.
