Hi Ladies Another week and we will have only 5 blocks to complete.
We are ALMOST finished!!!
I finished setting my quilt together using all 140 blocks. I had decided to rip out the last 2 rows until DD said she would love to have a quilt she could tuck under her feet on a cold winter night.
Whenever I get this quilt hand quilted, it will be her's

I laid the quilt on my bed and measured the best I could. It measures 71 inches by 99 inches without the outside borders. I may not add any borders, I'm still thinking about it. Any kind of border would make it way too long. I had planned to make the pieced border on page 80 in our book, but I won't unless I removed 2 rows of blocks on the long side. I'll get a picture and post it when we finish the blocks.
We will have a thread to post our progress as the blocks are set together and our finished quilt tops. How's that sound? I can't wait to see everyone's progress and the finished projects.

Oh wow. No I am still at the 20 to do mark LOL I am so behind. Working on so much this summer to catch up. I will work on these again once I finish a few more projects. YIKES so far behind but you all know me once I start I will finish them in no time flat. Just think weather is gonna get cold soon LOL I can then work like crazy on them:)))

Izzy

I understand Izzy. I don't spend much time sewing during the summer months. I have far to many other projects. I have been canning pea, corn, beans, and pickles. All my summer chores leaves little time to sew.
