Debbie,

Your blocks arrived on time. No need to apologize. I'm just glad you were able to finish them up.

I hope you can get your machine back to normal. It's frustrating when it's not working properly.

Debbie, you got your blocks there in time, which is what counts. But with all your machine problems, plus the illnesses and injuries on this and the Christmas swap, I think we've all learned to not leave our blocks until the last minute because stuff indeed, does happen.

Debbie - sorry to hear you had so many problems with your machine and to think it wouldn't work after you got it serviced. That is a true bummer. 5 years is not a long time so I hope they get it right for you when you take it back and they don't charge you for it.
I picked up a Jamome 6600 for my second machine back in 2005 and have loved it ever since. Other than the usual tune-ups it has sewn beautifully.

Tina - WONDERFUL SWAP!!!! Can't wait to see all the GREAT blocks everyone has made. Will definitely join in on another one of your swaps if the timing is right. THANKS!!!!

Tina- thanks for hosting this fun swap.
Looking forward to the cute blocks everyone made.
Debbie, I too have had stupid machine problems. I had mine in the shop for months and months till I found another machine just like it to take parts from, since that was the only way to get parts. It is 30 years old. Mine sure isn't the same. I am having jamming problems with it big time. GRRRR! I hope you can get yours fixed or replaced.

Thank you, Tina - that is lots of work for us to have this fun quilt. I can't wait for those blocks to land in my mailbox this week - in fact this is a quiet week around here, so I can play with them.

I have about half of the alternate blocks completed.

I have so learned that life gets in my way for so many things, that I too, try to get my obligations done early - makes my life so much easier aand I am a nicer person, when I am not stressed out.
