SUPPER CLUB - Mon, April 29th

We've had a quiet weekend here at the old Supper Club. I think nicer weather for some and bad weather for others has kept some of us "dieting". I hope the storms have all passed you by, uneventfully.

we had a nice BBQ last night and with wx improving, DH may want to do it again tonite, pork chops, this time. But if he doesn't, we might eat up some of the leftover dinners I have in the freezer. I'll let him choose. and he's gone off to a cardio exercise class at the 'Y' right now.

Hope there's more decision in your kitchen for tonite!

Good Afternoon MARYz & others.Still no rain but just very windy.Hope the storms pass on.

MARYz Forgot to tell the best part of Wedding.There was also a ring bearer,flower girl & Jr. flower girl.They were all adorable & did a great job.They were our DGGKids.Had on a tux & flower girls had on the cutest gowns.Glad we got to see them.And we got pictures.

Grilled Chicken breast here.Potatos(red bliss) with jacket on,asparagus & ice cream.

IRISH So great to hear your DS is improving.Great News.

Good Evening All.....its been a nice day here today......but apparently....all is about to change for the rest of the week......

Well I must say.....I really stepped out of my comfort zone with this Celtic Solstice.....I love the look of it.....BUT...have never cut so many little pieces....and all those clever ladies out there that have done it......WELL.....I"m going to be one too.....when I grow up.....

Maryz.....do come and join me.....don't want to be nuts on my own.....
have just started to cut for the Split Triangle Unit......going to go very slowly on this one......need 100 units.....oh..yes I was smart enough at the beginning to know I could only cope with the small size......

Well apart from that....we have had a busy few days.....gardening again... while weather was with us....all the housework that I have neglected to do.....and visiting some friends.....and cooking up menus.....

So todays menu.....Roast Chicken stuffed with whole Lemons.....Creamed Potatoes...Carrot and Cabbage.....Apple Strudal and Cream for afters

Good afternoon from dreary on the outside but sunny on the inside, SW. Pa....We're having a great day....

Mary, we have a BBQ grill on the patio and only use it for burgers and dogs....I've never been very creative but in my old age, I'm going to start....

Becca, will we be able to see some of those pictures? It's usually the little ones that steal the show..

Well, I am going to shock Jim AND myself and actually cook new food today...It's been awhile but I'm sure I can operate the stove...I think it's time to pamper Jim, so I'm making swiss steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and some type of veggie...Not sure if I'll bake anything even though we only have graham crackers...But, we can do without for a day or so....

It feels good to be back, really good.....

Becca.......The things I have missed on here of late......your family wedding that you had to miss.......but was so pleased to know you were able to have some face time and see the Glam part of the wedding.....now that is one of the joys of progress.....and perhaps you both will get to see the happy twosome quite soon.......
