With this test study, I haven't done any sewing, if I were to return to work my sewing time would be ltd. That not a good thing.

I had a wonderful visit with Tia and the kids yesterday :-) I just love those babies. Jovanna even cuddled with me for a minute :-) She is NOT the cuddling type, too busy.

Today I have to get my teeth cleaned. I'm a little afraid to go to the dentist after the mess with the c-diff. I hope they don't "find" anything.

The weather has changed and it's been a little nicer. Spring might have sprung! It might get up to 60 today! That will be a first for this year.

I hope you all have a great day.

Good morning everyone
Yesterday was a slow day here at work and I was tired. So, needless to say I didn't make it out to my studio. I am hoping to get out there today and get the binding sewn on the braid quilt. I want to spend tomorrow working on the Batman apron. I sure hope it works out like I have it pictured in my mind. We'll see. Have a great day.
Lois - have a great day
Vicky - you cant beat grand baby hugs.
Scrapquilter - I feel the same way about working. It sure has cut into my sewing time.

I have a question. Those of us who read the Elm Creek Quilters books, do you know if she is going to continue the series? I am talking about the books about the quilting retreats. Her last few books have been historical fiction. Which are good but I miss the others.

Good Morning, It is another beautiful day. but we are expecting rain later...but temps will go into the m id 60s///I think speing has sprung too.

DD is picking me up to go shopping at the mall today. Kids need summer stuff..and I have the discounts, 25 off everything plus $40 off if you spend $100. DD spend it on my charge then writes me a check....she gets the discounts and I get a gift card for shopping, it is a win win all the way....last time she shopped for her DH work clothers (dress shirts ties and dress pants) I got a $35 gift card...so I am in. I did miss the "senior" discount at joanns yesterday becuase I (now get this)I didn't need a single thing! I looked and looked and therer was nothing I needed so I didn't go.

My cold seems to be done...I havent been to see my friend...we agreed that this cold needs totally and completely gone before I see her,,,,she would be hard pressed to cough like I have been, I did talk for an hour yersterday,,,she has a new rescue dog. He is a corgie-mix and very funny, she loves her furbabies but her dog has been gone for 3 years...so now a new one.

Ken is headed to my sisters to work on the remodel....so I need to chat with him a bit....hope you all have a great day Love and Prayers to all XXXOOO

Good Sunny Morning....the lake is like a mirror today.

Just a quick 'Hello'. I need to get ready for WW &pick up a few things. I'm happy to hear Cindy's DH is doing well....will keep them in my prayers along with all the attacks going on.

The view from my porch has a good view of the lake & some houses.

See you when I get back.

Love & prayers to all in need.....Kathy

Good Morning Ladies

I am off today with my quilt club to do some fabric shopping, A local shop gave out 5 dollar coupons at the show. They are burning a hole in our pockets. We are also going to Hobby Lobby.

Suzette I don't if she will continue the quilt series but I read one of the history stories . Interesting but a bit dry although she has a quilt in there , I really prefer the original series.

I did get the middle of my civil war quilt together. Now to decide on borders. Hmmmmm

All of you have a great sewing day.

Drinking my coffee while watching Eleanor on TV......have seen most of these shows several times but still enjoy...they move her show around so much it's hard to find sometimes......lately at 6:30 in morning, so drink my cuppa during and then its outside to work. Sun is up and supposed to get to 76 today. Have to haul sawdust for bedding stalls this morning, and then pick stalls, what else is new...lol.

Hope everyone has a great day, during these nice days it sure is hard to find time to sew. Got some flower beds ready and some planted, things are starting to grow. It's time to get the vegetable beds ready for planting, looks like there may not be enough hours in the day.

The horses are calling for their breakfast so it's out I go..
