Re: Saturday 'PARTAYYYYY' 5th April
OH HAPPY DAY OH HAPPY DAY!
It's 1:pm and I'm home from moving!
room mate just has to come back and pick up her cats!
Everybody showed up at 9: we were loaded by 10:30 and on the road. The weather is beautiful here and as soon as I'm done here, I'm headed downstairs to open up all the windows!!!
I do want to apologize tho... I'm afraid that at times I've ranted a little too much and maybe even been a little less than Christian in my thoughts and postings. Room mate is not a bad person, she has a very good heart. I'm grateful that I was in a position to help her for a while, but I'm glad it's time for her to move on. She does seem excited to have her own place and maybe being on her own now will help her learn how to take care of herself.
After she gets her to get the cats, I'm going down stairs to start cleaning up a little. She did do the bathroom, somewhat, but I need to clean some more and vac her room... going to rip out the carpet anyway. Then it will be nap time! After that, who knows what I will feel like doing.. Maybe even sew a little!
Thank you for all your support! And don't forget, tomorrow at 2:00pm CDT we'll have a cheer!
Will check in later

Re: Saturday 'PARTAYYYYY' 5th April
Good morning!
Let me be the first to congrat you, Maryq - a house to yourself! Yippee!! You are a great friend and have a heart of gold to extend your home to her for all these months! Now is the time to move on to other things in your life and enjoy them!
Today was the first session of Conference - i.e., Church in your jammies! LOL We get to hear all the leaders speak, and since the Conference Center will only hold 25,000 people - the rest of us watch it on TV for all the sessions. There are two more sessions this afternoon/evening and then two tomorrow.
Tonight, while the "boys" are at a session of conference, just for the men, us girls - Sarah and my two DDILS, and my niece are having a girls craft night, down at Crenda's house. We are making Easter decorations for the door - a plastic Easter egg wreath, complete with Easter grass and string Easter eggs - you make them over a balloon with crochet thread and white glue - when the glue is dry, you pop the balloon, remove it and you have a hollow mesh type Easter egg - very fun and pretty. I have done these years ago, and they have shown up on Pinterest again, so the girls want them for their houses. We will have lots of fun and when the boys are done, we are having ice cream sundaes.
So during Conference, with the aid of a balloon pump, I blew up 30 balloons, just to get started with! Whew!
I found a piece of fabric that will work with my EL's Kitchen Quilt, so I am starting the Checkerboard border for that, then will assemble the whole puppy - it is a big quilt!
Well, must get going and grab the rest of the supplies that we need for tonight, before I forget them! LOL By the way, it did snow here this morning, nothing stuck, but it did snow on Conference week-end.
Hugs
Jana

Mary so glad your free and house is yours again. Your rants were not that bad. We understood your agony. You opened your home like a good christian would. Now she took advantage or your kindness though. You had a right to ask her to leave since she didnt keep house and help in your home.
Being a pastors wife what your rants were: were a shoulder to cry on as to the delema you were in and how to handle it You did it in the right manor you gave her plenty of time and even helped her move. Your a good lady:)
I have been outside with DH cleaning up flower beds and assisting him to put out fire REALLY he set yard on fire too funny but all is good. We also gave orchard its tree spikes so we are done for spring on that: peach pear and plum trees in bloom YUMMY hope to get lots this year:)
WEll now to help him get on roof, Then coffee
gotta go help with ladder

SoozG Wish I could be your passenger, seems you are having way too much fun, all by your lonesome self.. Gaul Darn..
After my research test studies, I have a call ctr who wants to hire me at $13.00hrly, need to go through the testing & interview.. They showed interest over phone.
Sure lots of call ctr jobs opening up in Wpg. I'm told not the greatest job. But worth trying for a while, if it fails, still government income, then be 55+ and can move into a subsidize housing, cat may not be around then..

Re: Saturday 'PARTAYYYYY' 5th April
Good evening!
SCRAPPY PAT texted me this evening and said to tell everyone that she's had a really good day. She thanks you for all of your prayers, good wishes, cards and concern. Her husband Tom is so touched that we are all concerned and praying for him in his role as caregiver. Pat tires easily, and we didn't chat long. She just wanted everyone to know that today was a good day.
I tried to add this as a new discussion, but the site wouldn't let me.
