A quick breeze through! The wind is starting to howl outside - good to be in the Batt Cave!
We just got home from looking at lawn tractors for DH - he needs one for all the lawn that we have here now - I just wish that he would decide on which one that he wants - driving me nuts waiting!
Good news on the FIL front - we were finally accepted for the government help with his care. That is great relief off of the family that has been helping out with the finances. The only downside, is that the care home wants to move him across to the other building - a smaller patient/nurse ratio, as FIL's dementia is getting worse.
Well need to scoot -

Good afternoon, all.
Unstuffing the gutters was about as much fun as we thought it would be. We worked for about 30 minutes and then went on to other fun things, like sweeping and picking up construction debris. Whew – do we know how to live or what? We will do round 2 tomorrow on the gutters. We got about 1/8 of the house done. We are tossing the pine needles in the trash. They are an extreme fire hazard, so we can’t even chop them up and use them as mulch. A real shame, because when we had trees removed for the shop, we had them all chipped into mulch. Looks like that will be spread around at the top of our priority, as mulch is another extreme fire danger.
Well dang, I thought I’d have time to sit a spell and visit, but looks like we’re headed back out. See y’all tomorrow! Xoxo Sharona

Good late afternoon all. What a great day we had. Rain and all lol. We went to Cheesecake factory oh the food and of course the cheese cake was to die for. DH had steak and shrimp scampi I had Salmon and shrimp scampi YUM with a large plate of Asparagus he had taters but I am allergic so I always end up with vegies:))
We then trecked on over to Cabela's and shopped hunting. I got a pair of socks LOL they are Wader boot socks fishermen wear. So nice to have under my skirts in winter when working in barn and milking:)) They are wool with fleece lining and come clear up to my thighs like the old time panty hose with garder belt but these babies stay put on their own:))LOL such lil things make my day:) DH got hunting stuff:) I felt like him when he comes into quilt shop. I shoot out ideas and when he says that is to pricy I play him BUY it you only do this once in a long while:)) and its your passion. thats what he says to me with fabric
)
You all are so busy with laundry, TROLLS in the basement LOL, cleaning and sewing. I did sort laundry when got home. Now to take to basement. I did milk and feed and pasteurize another gallon of milk and make butter. Need to make some bread but may wait til tomorrow for that.
DS had fun watching his sis for us. She loves spending time with him but also was happy when we came to get her to go home to her lazy boy and new movie we got her:)

Well off to sew a bit on mystery blocks:)
