OK Izzy. I stand corrected. At least your grass is turning green. I am so depressed that I don't think we will ever get anything green.

Late here today. Got up about 7:30 with Poco dog, walked and fed her, then went back to bed after I took some Airborne and Colloidal Silver. My throat is a little scratchy. I woke up at 1:30 p.m.

MARYQ - Hope you are roommate free by date set.

MARYZ - Enjoy your visit.

BECCA - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

we just finished our turkey dinner... Mar has a friend over..the real picky eater... she didn't bring her cereal this time but had a piece of turkey.. she was going to have the stuffing but smelled it first and changed her mind.. she didn't want the mashed potatoes or green beans.. just odd in my opinion... that one piece of turkey is going to last her...I should ask her mom if there is a dietary issue...or I should butt out.

Diana, I love light up shoes.. sure wish they had them when I was a kid... your DGS will be the coolest kid in the neighborhood with those shoes...hope you found something to do.

Izzy, where to you find the time to do so much? goat milk has me intrigued but not sure I am ready to try it...lol

Suzette, polka dots will be adorable... so girly...

Florence, don't you love not having to cook...

Leah, happy 4 patch making.... what are you doing with hexagons?

I have been making HST's... Ihave enough to make 10 red and white blocks.. still need to square some of them up.... I love the QIAD square up ruler... then the delima is... do I make more hst's for the other 10 blocks or sew up what I have done so far then make 10 more...after all that turkey I'd rather just have a nap..lol

you girls have a great afternoon...

SusieQ goats eat it before it gets past the dead brown they are so desperate for greens LOL We wont have to mow for a while. We let pastures get about calf high for goats to nibble on.

Well got net of pond wentt o turn on pumps and waterfall was by pump on of pipes popped loose from all the freeze we had so DH will have to repair but has to wait for it to dry.

Got half the ornamental grass cut down. Also cleaned the porch. Quilted the table runner gonna sit in bed and sew down binding by hand and it will be ready for tomorrow.

Working on deviled eggs that wont peel UGH too fresh of eggs. Oh well they wont be pretty but will still be edible LOL

I hate picky eaters. LOL She will be hungry before night is out. Bet she eats a lot of fast processed foods--chicken nugets, corndogs fries and junk LOL Most kids these days thats all they know.

Beans and cornbread was yummy tonight.

Get some rest all its getting dark and I my legs and feet are killing me.

Good Evening Girls

Just got home from work, so I thought I would check in!
Sounds like you guys have had a busy day... milking, shopping, sewing, turkey dinner!

Room mate went to a movie today.. and it's 7:30pm and she's in bed. Hasn't done a darn thing all day.... Not packed a thing!!!
April 5th can't come soon enough!

Dianna.... Definitely think we should have a party on April 6th. I'll have to think of some way we can all celebrate... Maybe set our watches/clocks for the same time-allowing for different time zones.. then all simultaneously raise a glass of whatever and TOAST!

Becca... Sorry I missed your birthday this morning! OH HAPPY DAY! Hope it's been a great fun day for you.

Chriss Great news on the adoption process! Do you have a date for the court in May? We definitely will need to celebrate that!!!!

Izzy... My Goodness you have been busy today!! How do you pasteurize the goats milk to make butter? Does it have a different taste than regular butter?

Maryz... I haven't offered to help pack... tho on Monday when I'm off or next weekend, I'm cleaning out my pantry and packing all her food!
Get this.. she didn't save ANY money over the 11 months she's been here, so her folks had to help her out with 1st & last months rent!
Are you home yet? Must be close by now! Just click your heels and say "there's no place like home"

Vicky...All the fabric for 4 quilts!!!! Is Shannon going to make them herself or did she leave the fabric with you! I haven't been to Joann for so long. I'm surprised they haven't called looking for me!

Kathy... am having ceilings replaced in lower level because the suspended ceiling fell down and the upstairs because there's holes in the ceiling from when a light fixture fell out in 2001!! Guess it's about time I get them fixed! Have been looking all over at paint samples and found a very very pale yellow I think I'll do in the "guest room" and maybe my room. I'm waiting for the right color to hit me.

Suzette.....Love Polka Dots! What a pretty baby girl quilt that will make... I never get the backing when I shop for fabric--mostly cuz I never know how big the quilt will turn out until it's done!

Well, tummy is grumbling so think I'll go find something for supper, tho the cupboards are pretty bare... grocery shopping is definitely on the TO DO list for Monday!
Probably won't get a chance to sneak in here in the morning, have to be to work at 9, but I'll stop by when I get home!

Have a Great Sunday every one
