Thursday, March 6th

Post by suzette58 » Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:59 pm

Good morning everyone.
The older furbaby woke me up extra early this morning. And guess who is asleep and who isn't? Yesterday I got a post on my Facebook a LQS was having a sale to make room for the new fabrics coming in. (10) 1 yard cuts of fabric for $60. They pick the fabric. Which is fine cause everything they have is beautiful. They are also having a deal on fat quarters as well. If you are interested check out Web Fabrics in Purcellville, VA. They are on the web and you can order online. They are very fast in cutting and shipping. Yesterday I found out that my radiation ends on Tuesday!!! I thought it would be Wednesday because I missed 2 days this week. But, they checked and I am good to go. I am so glad. My skin is a mess. Now it will start healing. Have a wonderful day.

Lois - when you get those coughing fits, drink Luke warm tap water. My son's dr told me that when he was young. Cold water makes your bronchial tubes constrict. Warm water relaxes them. It works.

morning girls....just a quickie as I'm off to my sisters, hoping she will let me visit, even if it's just for a quick coffee.....since the funeral she has held everyone off at arms loength and has taaken great steps to avoid being with us....i understand she needs space and time to herself, but shes not returning phonecalls or texts and i just feel i have to go and make contact, i don't want her getting so withdrawn she doesn't know how to get herself back.....any prayers for a positive visit will be greatly appreciated

I'll catch up on all your news when I get back, love and prayers for you all xxxx

Good Early Morning,

SUZ - so happy to hear your radiation is almost done with! What happens next, if anything? I'd love to look at your LQS website. But I'm afraid I might buy something!

JULES - I hope your sis lets you visit. Sounds like she really needs some loving human contact right now. my heart hurts for her.

LOIS - looks like none of us can sleep! We had dinner with our kids tonite and I drank more than one glass of wine. I always wake up after only an hour or two of sleep and it really disturbs the fur-kids!

Not much going on around here. We're just hanging around, spending time with DD when she's available. When she's not, I work on my Crazy Jane. Luckily, this is practically a never-ending project!

Wishing everyone a great Thursday. It's Big Bang Theory night! My favorite night!

suzette Glad all that painstaking treatment is over.. YIPPIE to you!

Jules Good luck I'll save a prayer today, such deaths are hard, and unlike myself she has people who care about her.. And visit despite all.. You have a great relationship.

Coughing fits I'm bad for those humidifier helps for awhile, until I pee in my pants from coughing, hard to breathe then have to visit Dr. where he prescribes asthma pump to clear airway, but I can't get it to work.. I try to avoid crowds now..

Still cold here....I'm sick of it. I need spring to come!

I got the rest of the pieces all fused to Harley yesterday. Today Tia and Shannon will be here. We are going to try to tackle the closet in the sewing room.
Last night my sister came over and we took a trip to Joann's. I got some red fabric and the stabilizer for the back when I machine applique. I use an iron on, tear away stabilizer.

Well, I'm off I have to get ready for grandchildren!
Keep looking up,
Vicky
