Sooz, as long as your block "reads" red with a white background it's perfect.....don't want to go pink or maroon... you can use up all your reds in the same block as long as they are red...

Kathy, I'm thrilled you're here too... I've learned a lot about swapping since my first swap... I will hand out one of those rating cards after it's all over...lol

Teresa, dang that's a pretty quilt.. I love the second block down on the left, it's one of my favorites... wow... I would love that quilt.

I have a block in mind but if it doesn't come out the way I want I will try the one on this quilt... or another one or who knows...lol

Well ... Photobucket was giving me fits but at least it doesn't take up the whole screen now. You might need your binoculars to see it but I got it here. Thanks Marcia. Very Lovely block

Jana and Marcia, your blocks are beautiful.

I am making the "Amish Diamond" block. All my pièces are cut, I have two blocks done. I didn''''t had enough of one red fabric to make the blocks all the same. There will be about 14 with one red fabric, and the rest with another one. Will post pictures when my computer will be repaired.

Denise, the Amish diamond will be a great block...

I am still back and forth about which block to make... but I will figure it out by Friday and start cutting...

Just checking in. I had thought about doing the "Amish Diamond" but Denise beat me to it. The "Paper Pinwheel" could be the one I'll make.
I want to do a test block before I commit. Those points have to be "perky".
