March 16th just one more day until the leprechaun arrives
A pot of gold for me when these blocks arrive
Here in KY where the ice comes down
snow too I need a rainbow in this dreary country town!!

Please everyone throw in the towel
Or you just may hear me Howl
I looked at my Daffodils
As this arctic wind gave me chills

I have now started a fire
the red, yellow and blue flames to keep me warm and admire
But ohhhh how I would do better in a jilt
If I won these blocks to make me a spring quilt

I promise if I win to get it done
sewing each day with a pretend sun
a room full of swirling rainbows
a hot cup of tea some chocolate Who Knows

I may just bake some cookies too
not just for me but for all of you
and you can come visit my pretty blocks
AWAKE I MUST cause truly I know they are behind Teresa's locks!!

What a dream
you all were such a nice team
letting me have those blocks everyone
because you LOVE my poetry and all my fun!!!

Hi, I am sorry if I am holding everything up... I have mine all cut out and 3/4 of the pieces are sewn to their white companion, I hope tomorrow to be able to do some more... I have strained a muscle in my back and I can't sit for very long at the sewing machine without going into a lot of pain... so if you want me to drop out so you can divide the rest up its ok with me. Otherwise I will plug along and I'm sure I can get them done and to you probably by the end of the week. I have eight blocks in progress. Happy St. Patrick's everyone. I am actually celebrating this one knowing I have Irish blood ... genealogy helps you learn all kinds of things.!!

We started this month a lot earlier than usual.
It is only the 17th so you have plenty of time to keep going and mail.
Do not feel rushed. Enjoy your stitching time and take care of your back.

I should be able to get my blocks in the mail on Thursday when I have the day off. We're expecting a HUGE storm here with perhaps 8" of snow!! I'll probably slide to work on Tues & Wednesday!

R Red is the color of love: oh how I love these Lottos
A Around spin the beautiful colors in this block
I Izzy wants to win them all but is willing to share with a pal
N Need or Want is the question when it comes to fabric and doing the Lotto for me {Want is my answer}
B Blue is how I will feel if I don’t win these blocks.
O Orange you glad Beth is giving me more time to be a poet for this Lotto
W Winner!!! Is what I want the Lotto drawer to say with my name to follow.
