Wwe still have a bit of February to enjoy but a few of you have asked me what we are doing in March. Caught me off guard just a bit BUT I think I have found one for you to enjoy and be creative with. March is the time of St. Patricks Day. We have made the Irish Chain a number of times so I thought we would look to the End of the Rainbow where the Pot of Gold will be. What does your rainbow look like???
We will be using the the QIAD Merry-Go-Round. It is a FREE pattern at the top of page right above Community. "GO SLOW" You will need to be careful in your setup as each of the 4 sections of the block contains 2 colors of the Rainbow starting with Red/Orange; Yellow/Green; Blue Green/Blue; Violet/Violet Purple or Blue Violet. Print or Draw a sketch of the block and place a small piece of Fabric in each section. That will tell you which way it should be cut and sewn and how to arrange them in a circle after making all four sections.
* Get as close as possible to the colors from your stash. Picture is posted below.
* You will want to use Blenders, Tone on Tones or Small prints that read the Specific Color and
* White for the background.
