Good afternoon from very sunny, but very cold, SW. Pa...Right now, we having a heat wave, it's up to about 2! The nice weather people even have the never to tell us, this is going to last and we're getting more snow....As said on Duck Dynasty, Happy, Happy, Happy..(not)

And to add to the miseries, my head cold is not getting any better and I'm thinking of delaying my trip south....Of course Jim didn't make me feel any better this morning, he looked at me and said, You really look bad"! Like I said, Happy, Happy, Happy.....

But, on to our dinner....Last night's was delish and I figure it will be just as good again tonight...So left overs and 1 lonely little piece of pumpkin pie...Someone in this house really liked that pie.....

Joanne, my swiss steak is made with eye of round....I used to buy a nice big piece but now just get the rounds (cost a little more but not waste)...I flour and brown them in my pressure cooker, add onions, mushrooms, seasonings and a little water and cook for about 15 min....The drippings are used for the gravy or when I'm lazy, I use a package of Aldi's gravy and mix it in the drippings....I don't use any tomato so I guess mine isn't really swiss steak..But, it sure is good, no matter what it is, lol....Using the pressure cooker, the meat is so tender, you don't need a knife.....If I didn't have my cooker or my slow cooker, I wouldn't cook at all.....

Good Afternoon Irish & everyone.Cold here too but sun has popped out now.Just a good day to stay inside.

IRISH Hope you feel better soon.Our DGS 's family has been sick 2 wks now.Been to Dr twice.Have terrible coughs.

If it is cold you know I love soup.So this morn. I made a big pot using my ham bone.And lots of veggies.And I got my cranberry salad made too.Now with good crusty bread we are set....Becca

Irish - get better fast! No fun with a cold - then you can be Happy, Happy, Happy!

Becca - soup is good! That might even make it on the table here tonight - we will see....

Suzette just posted a Coconut Cream Cheese Cake in the recipe section - that is being made in a few minutes - I needed a goodie! LOL I love both coconut and cream cake -

Dinner - could be soup or something with chicken - both of the fixings are up stairs.
