I picked up some fabrics at a Beverly's yesterday. Many of the quilt shops have closed around here so shopping outside of online is sparse, There are only two now. Will post pics later of the fabric to assure it meet the color scheme. Not sure about the chocolate part. Split decision at the store as to who would and who wouldn't consider it chocolate.

Mary - FABulous start!!!! You have them sewn on perfectly so that you see the 4 hearts. Glad you stopped here before you added the triangles. I agree with you. The sides are way to light. The top fabric actually might work if the sides had more red. The bottom is perfect.
*** For everyone .... Don't forget to square the 4-patch to 6" before you add the ends to it and then square the length of the middle sections to 6" wide before you add the the sides. Then add the triangles. Don't worry about squaring the ends as they will get squared by the winners. It is the width of the center you need to make sure of.
GREAT JOB!!!!!! WELCOME MARY!!!!!

What a joyful day today was. Went to JoAnn's in between Dr appt and picked up some more reds that were $2.99 a yard!! What a sweet deal. I also picked up almost 4 yards of a springtime WOW that I have not seen for that price as well. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttt!!!

Sooz - WOW - WOW - WOW!!!! Your blocks are GREAT. It can be tricky to get a good contrast using all TOT's but these are FABulous and you made 8!!!! I know someone who would like to win!!! So please pass on the word and let everyone know where they can find some great blocks and how easy they were to make ... at least I hope they were easy for you

Valerie - GREAT!!! I know you will love making them. Do not stress. Plenty of time as it is only the 5th. Enjoy your scouting weekend. I know you will have lots of fun with Andrew and the boys.
