Good Afternoon...well 11:25 is still morning I guess....why am I so late you ask? well Ken and his croanies are at a sportman show and off to lunch and Cabelas....I have a whole day or at least half of it to myself.....besides being mad at him since he ate my Italian ice last night,,,I headed straight down to the basement to quilt on Annebelle. She has been giving me fits....BUT I got the problem solved....it WAS Operator Error....I was chnging modes from manual to regulated and not hitting the select button she wouldn't move...then the needle down button wasn't working cause I had it set wrong....I think my brain went on vacation and forgot me...but I am now taking a break and realized I never said hi this morning,,,,so I hope you are all doing well and will come back to read later,,,prayers fro our Pat and all the other who need it or want it...XXXOOO it is 40 and foggy here,,,expecting rain to wash away all the snow so God can start over...I am sure

Oh MaryZ I really liked you a lot until I say you say Go Seahawks LOL I am a be Philly Eagles fan and as you know we are rivals. Well I forgive you for it; it just means I have to rumage a bit longer in your stash while you are gone:))))LOL It broke my heart when Eagles lost the other day. A sad day here. But whats even worse is DH is a Buffalo Bills Fan. LOL

Jana so glad your new RED machines are in I second day aired all my laundry to you so you would have plenty of practice using them LOL:)

Its so warm here I actually hung out my laundry today LOL Crazy below zero at beginning of week and now in 50s :) I like the 50s a lot better.

I am slow moving and really down but not sure why. Tired I guess for first week back.

My parents basement flooded this morning--and of course they refuse to let me help clean it up. AHHHHHHHH stuborn stubborn stubborn!!!! I plan to head over there later anyway to help mome clean it up; like it or not:)) may even stop in at Hancocks like I need fabric. But due need a light for my mystery quilt just dont have any lg cuts.

My heart breaks for scrappy pat and tom. I pray GOD gives them both strength this week and coming months.

Teresa so hope you too get to feeling better soon.

KHO I hear the agony of that lil calf. You get attached to those lil guys:) Not to mention that is some money lost if he doesnt make it. I heard on radio here where when we were below 0 horse fell through a pond down the road from us and fire dept had to rescue. Its doing well they said.

Well all have fun sewing. Going to hit the machine later for SBS and my SP block. I have the perfect idea for my pal. I just hope SP likes it:))

God Bless and happy thoughts.

Izzy

Chickie what weather is headed my way next week:)))

Good morning!

Sandy – glad the little girl was found – sounds like she’ll make it. Sure hope you’re able to catch up on that missed sleep.

Teresa – you sure got a wonderful surprise.

Suzette – congrats on finishing the quilt top.

Lois – have fun in your sewing room.

Chriss – your fabric secret is safe with me. I can’t start on my BOM until I get my bird house blocks done. And in order to do that, I need to iron all the fabric. I shall endeavor to do that today.

Becca – seems like it’s all babies, all the time for you! I’m praying your DH will start to feel better today.

Kathy – sorry you weren’t feeling good yesterday. I like your idea of a prewash for the car. Hope your uglies are of the quick variety.

Maryz – sounds like Scottie is having a good time so far. I can type quick responses on the iPad, but after that I try to go to the laptop. Go Broncos.

Izzy – isn’t it a shame when restaurants think they have to blast music? It really detracts from the whole experience. Hope your parents let you help them with the basement.

Maryq – May isn’t that far off now. I know what you mean about 32 feeling balmy after being in the deep freeze. Have fun shopping with Evie.

Judi – I know how you feel about your brain taking a vacation without the rest of you. Sounds like you got it all figured out – yay. Enjoy your alone time.

Pat – keep the faith. I agree with what Maryz said – God can do anything. We will trust in His plan. Hugs to both you and your DH.

Miriam – we’re about 20 miles away from the LQS and a Home Depot. Boy I bet you really have to plan ahead!

I best go start warming up the iron. Actually, now I think I’ll wait until after my nap. DH was up at midnight asking me if I wanted him to sing for me (his ‘singing’ is best accompanied by howling cats). Then the dog needed to go out at 4:30, so needless to say my sleep meter is fairly depleted. Have a great day! xoxo Sharona

I am sad to let you all know that Cousin Heather passed to an angel yesterday. See was cancer free. Unfortunately the stem cell transplant that saved her from cancer, is also what caused her lungs to turn toxic. I want to thank you all for all of the support, positive thoughts and prayers over the past few years.

Good Happy Afternoon!!!!!!

I don't know if you remember I lost my camera after photographing a quilt. WELL I found it!!! You'll never guess where!!! In the trash bag hanging in the CAR!!! I can't image how it got there. I'm so happy, I now have the DGC's baby photos, quilts & old sewing room photos.

Uglies are done....now to sew.

Maryz.....your doing well with your I-pad. Scottie just needs a few more trips to get into the swing of things. I had to Google Seahawks so I could say "Go Patriots!"

Izzy.....it felt 'warm' at 55' this morning. Good buy vortex! Loud music can spoil your meal. I'd except help for a flooded basement.

Maryq.......Alaska is wonderful & you'll just love it.....I did. I still get excited when I think of it. If you're doing land & ship.....do the land first so you can relax afterward.

Judi.....sorry about you italian ice. Good news.....that you worked out your machine's problem.

Not sure what I'll on....there is so much to choose from.

BBL.....Kathy

Good morning!

FIL was kept in the hospital for a few days. They started a IV drip of anti-biotics and he perked right up. They told us they it was caught very early.

Well my new toys are hooked up, but not quite in the right place in the laundry room. They work. Ethan is fascinated watching the drom turn in the washer. He tells me to go and see new. LOL

Working on the little Valentine quilt. Got all the pieces cut out, hardly any scrap leftover. I also got all the half square triangles sewn, ready to square up. Sarah will be over later to work on it with me.

My big quilt show, the HMQS -home machine quilting show just sent out its class list for sign ups. The show is in May and Sarah and will go and taje classes. It is just across the valley from me and the maker of my machine supplies the machines to use - great for me!

Well need to scoot, only have my nutcrackers to pack away - then, DH will pack it all away in the closets upstairs, the ones that we don't use.

Prayers and hugs,
Jana

Forgot NO SEACHICKENS!! GO 49'ERS! They play tomorrow. The Seattle team is better known as the Seachickens in this house - they are the enemy! LOL

I went to Joann's and got my backing for Lydia's quilt. I have to wait to cut it. I use sawhorses and plywood on our deck and it has rained all day. I am hoping it stops and dries up soon. I cut the pieces for my Secret Pals block and also got it sewed together. This is a great way to make a new block to see if you want to make a quilt of that block. Well, have to think of something for dinner. Have a great evening
