Love how your star looks too - putting a embroidery in the middle would be great - what are you thinking of?

I have my design wall cleaned off - so if I can remember to bring the camera to the batt cave, I can assemble my quilt top, to share with y'all

ok here it is with borders too LOL HELP can you see my frustration which center should I go with black multi or the red stripe? Im leaning toward the red to tie it all together. the mult black will be my final border as well sooooo IDK>

I re-doing the Mark's stars on quilt #2 so haven't done my partial feathered star yet (and finishing up on a couple of border strips--cut them too small, rats, at leastit's just some unsewing and redoing the triangles so only a little fabric used!). Crossing fingers that I pick just the right fabrics for those feathered stars! Must get my camera battery charged!

I'm not doing this quilt, but I'm enjoying the photos! IZZY, not sure what you're asking, but if it's which color center for the feathered star that we like, they are both nice. Both are pretty. Both work well. But personally, I think the red gives more *POP* to the quilt.

Izzy...now that it's laid out...I like the red center. You finished your blocks... Am I missing part of the instructions? Mine ended after the first half...

Izzy. I vote red center, both look nice, but red jumps out at you.

Sooz. Love the shade of blue with the red for your quilt, very striking.
