Izzy I decided to start over with new colors. I plan to set the original blocks in a different design---may set the star blocks with a single Irish chain around them. I am making the new star blocks today and hopefully start the chevrons tomorrow. I am liking the second quilt MUCH better. I have to say this does go together fast and I'm enjoying Bonnie's pattern second time too.

Izzy the blocks I already have made are going to be set up with a single Irish chain around them(I think). The chevron blocks maybe I'll rip them apart and turn the chevron 3 1/2" square around and make a star. Still thinking about it. I won't waste the fabric, I plan to make it in to another quilt.
I only got 12 of the new stars completed yesterday. I'm looking forward to see how the second quilt turns out. I wanted to start on the new chevron blocks today, but I had to take the dog to the vet this morning. She got a good report, so that was good.

ok here is a little bit of my lay out. Guess what those rectrangles needed to have two darks not mix of blues she really should of stated that dont you think. But I do like it and will sew it together:) I just wont have the contrast she has in hers. But I do want to do this one again in purple theme eventually on day after I forget how I hated those chevrons LOL

Izzy your quilt is going to be perfect when it's finished. I will agree, I didn't get enough detailed information about color. I've decided I don't understand how to use the paint chips.

As you know I decided to redo mine and I'm still working on it. I think it will much better than the first one. Purple would be great, I love purple.

Always enjoy the pictures. Redtop
