Good afternoon from dreary, cold, Sw. Pa...Hoping Mr. Sun will make an appearance but he's in hiding.......

We went to early Mass but no breakfast this morning...The other Jim needed to get back home and get packed up to go hunting...He did say, if this year, he doesn't get a deer he'll have to sell his guns...We tease him a lot...One year he sat all day and saw nothing and after he got back to his camp, packed up to come home and was walking to the truck, there were a bunch of deer, standing near the truck, waiting to see him off...

We did stop at Aldi's and then came home and Jim made me waffles for breakfast...And some of you wonder why I keep "Scrooge" around????Right now, he's reading the paper with his eyes closed...But, we are leaving shortly to go to Kevin's and I need to stop at Joannes for a little more backing for a Tshirt quilt...

Chriss, I like Jerry's idea of using stuffing...I have done that either in the oven or in the crockpot and it turns out so good...Of course it would be much better if someone else made it for me...You got yourself a heck of a fellow! As many have said, Mar is going through a phase, she'll out grow it and hopefully you'll survive...Been there done that with Kathy and she's turned out to be a wonderful lady/mother/best friend.....

With all you gals doing your Christmas stuff, I feel like a slug...Our boxes are still in the shed, the cards still not addressed, lists not even made............Oh well, I think I work much better under pressure.......

And with that, we're off to Kevin's.......

You all have a great rest of the day....................

Sounds like everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I have a couple more gifts to get my Grandsons and then I can get their box in the mail and on its way to Okinawa. That will complete my Christmas shopping because the adults don't exchange gifts anymore. We send donations to local charities. I definitely don't need anything more to dust.

Our interim minister is done next week, because the new minister is coming on the 9th. What really makes me mad is that the district minister told our interim minister he cannot stay in the church with the new minister coming. Our interim minister has belonged to our congregation for over 30 years and now he is being told to leave. it makes no sense to me. He is a wonderful man and minister. What I don't understand is how Christian is it to tell a man to leave your home church just because a new minister is coming? I am seriously thinking about leaving this church and I have gone here for 25 years.

Well, better go and take Pepper out for a 'potty" break. Thanks for the suggestions for getting Pepper to eat. I found that the Vet's suggestion of boiled chicken works the best. I tried rice, baby food meat and green beans and nothing worked. She is so "bull-headed". She thinks I am trying to give her medicine all the time.

Have a good day everyone. Prayers for all who need them. I need to go back and read everyone's posts for the last couple of days.

Good afternoon cotton pals

Well I just had the craziest afternoon

My daughters law called looking for our son
But he wasn''''t here.
She sounded upset so I asked her what''''s wrong she said Stephanie
Her sister hit a pole at Costco. I told her I would go to her house and look
For John. He wasn''''t there. I called her from their house and I said to her she
should go. To the closest hospital because she''''s could be really hurt.

She said Stephanie was refusing medical help.

So I came home and my son had just gotten here.

I asked him how Stephanie was doing and I said what did they do with her car.

Here is what really happened

She was walking in the store probably texting and walking and she
walked into a pole in the store and had a gash on her head.

I was at first upset knowing that the kids might have been in her car .

But as you can see when they omit part of the true story your imagination
Goes crazy.

All in all she is getting her stitches
And my daughter inlaw is home with the kids....

Have a wonderful day all

Dolores

Good evening everyone.
I got out to my studio twice today. After making a dry run to the oncologist's office to see where I have to go on Friday, I went out and worked on the baby quilt. Then I came in and did a few uglies and went back out. This time I squared up the Christmas blocks from the Christmas Swap. I have to pre-wash the sashing and cornerstone fabric I got the other day and maybe I will get the top together. Who knows? It would be nice to have a Christmas quilt for Christmas. Have a nice rest of the day. Will check in tomorrow.
