Wow you all are busy. Got up and stripped beds then went to barn. All was good last night. Temps dropped and so did baby girl I have her in front of wood stove now with heating pad under her raising temp. Poor thing I hope she makes it. I have never had so much trouble. But these babies are in open pen in center of barn and that may be trouble. Going to revamp this afternoon their housing.
Keep fingers crossed she will take bottle in a bit. I will keep posted. glad I was home this time:)
God Bless and happy thoughts
Headed back to barn to do water.

MaryZ - I have to keep the bandage on till tomorrow. But, can take a shower tonight. The doctor put a waterproof bandage over gauze pads. So, tomorrow I will see what is there. Right now it itches.
I am trying to just sit here but it is hard. My sister in-law just called and is on her way. She is coming here before the cemetery. It may be crowded there because of the anniversary of JFK's death. Have a great morning. I will check back later.

Ok DH just came in from hunting freezing cold here only 34 this morning and tepms to fall tonight. So his mission is to winterize barn even more with fresh bedding for all 4 barns. Oh my. Baby girl is warming up temp now 95.9 she has to reach 101 for normal. she has ate herr kyro syrup:) Now still needs a bottle once strong enough.
I took a while in barn. 2 babies pooped up so had to wash bottoms LOL they dont like that. Every one else looking good. Baby girls brother has runs; backing off feed for momma that should help.
Suzzette so glad all went well Rest today you really need it dont chill yourself going to studio.
Irishgram I loved goat story of goat on car. I needed to laugh today. I am down with loosing my babies. Lucky was hard he did well through night only to loose him that morning.
I hope to sew wome today but lots of uglies to do Like you all call mount washmore is now more like the wash canyon. OH MY. My house is a wreck with all the time I have spent in barn. I am hoping to get it all cleaned up today.
I loved table runner too and backing fabric Very pretty. I too misread directions a lot LOL I guess we think we know what to do next and then its an OOPs moment LOL
Well back to work I must go. Oh and did I mention last night the pipe broke for outside faucet and I filled my basement foyer with water. LOL Oh yeah when it rains it pours here LITERALLY LOL So extra load of towels to do too.
Happy thoughts and God Bless

Good morning!
Suzette - I'm thrilled you're back home and that surgery went well. How sweet of your DSILs to come by to visit. I'll have to ask you some questions about your studio and keeping the machines warm later on. Enjoy your visit and possible sewing.
Lois - a warehouse sale sounds exciting. Smart of you to wait in the car if it's crazy.
Becca - you must be sewing like a mad woman! Glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for doing the QoV thing.
Judi - I know you'll have a great time with the DGKs - I hope your DD's MIL behaves herself.
Maryz - I don't think it would be cheating at all. I made a job jar a couple of years ago - it's covered with spider web fabric. HAHAHA! I can't wait to unpack it because it makes me laugh. Sorry that all your children have icky outlaws. That would stink. Hope your uglies go by quickly.
Chriss - enjoy your day with Mar. How wonderful to have a car with no mechanical problems and that gets such good gas mileage.
Sue - best of luck to Gage. How lovely to be done with your Christmas sewing. Have a great trip to Tulsa.
Velda - I can't wait to see the pictures!
Tina - sounds like you took the saying 'shop till you drop' literally! Hope you were able to get some decent sleep.
ScrappyPat -have fun at your DGGD's party!
Kathy - I so understand what you're going through. This is the fourth time I've had to type this post - I'm going to reboot the laptop if/when I get this posted.
Izzy - I hope the newest arrival makes it. I hope y'all don't work yourselves too hard and get rest when you can. We have several of DH's great-grandmother's journals. She used them mostly to keep track of stock, eggs, butter, cream, etc. But she always wrote a couple of sentences every day about dry-land farming. They lived out in Burlington, CO. Every single solitary day begins with 'did the morning chores' and closes with 'did the evening chores'. And by chores she meant mucking out the stalls, feeding the horses, cows and chickens, gathering eggs, checking on the livestock, breaking the ice on the windmill well in the winter when it was -20 with the wind howling, etc. Talk about a hard life. And the chores had to be done whether you were sick or well. Oh, and then in the spring, discing the fields, plowing, planting, oh my such hard work. Plus, pick/clean/prepare your food daily. She talks about canning an entire cow. I'm here to tell you, I'm not that tough. So hats off to you, girlfriend! GREAT news about babygirl. YAY!
They delivered the wood for the new building yesterday. The contractor says it should be ready for occupancy the week before Christmas. Today I'm boxing up my SS gifts to mail on Monday. Other than that, getting ready for company and the Thanksgiving meal. Have a blessed day, my wonderful quilty friends. xoxo Sharona

Good afternoon....
It's cold but sunny here. Tomorrow is supposed to be 31 for the high with the low being 21 with wind chill to 9!!!
Izzy....hope you get to breathe today! Sorry about loosing one of your babies.
Maryz...I love your quilt....mistake and all makes it perfect!
Kathy....hope you have a super thanksgiving. What a neat thing to do on thanksgiving day...feeding the poor.
Suzette....hope you have a nice visit with your sil. Glad your surgery went well and it is over. Make sure you rest and don't over do it for awhile. hugs
Chriss...shopping is a fun girl thing to do. I took Cooper and Lucy to Joann's this morning and the whole time I am asking myself why did I come? It is so hard for kids to go to the fabric store. They were real busy too. So guess what I got? NOTHING!!lol
I am making mug rugs for a friend. She is paying me to make them. I have 30 to make and have 12 done. She's giving them to her sunday school class, she's getting mugs and is going to roll them up and put them inside of them. I have until the 5th of Dec to finish. Wish me luck!
Hope everyone has a great day.
