Supper Club, Friday October 25th - I checked the date!

Good morning diners!

Today's is the Blue Plate Special! At least at my house!! LOL I promised DH that I would make him a nice dinner yesterday - well I got sidetracked babysitting - so today it is! We are having Pot Roast, Gravy, rice or mashed potatoes, and broccoli - afters is Razzleberry Pie with vanilla ice cream. I am throwing the roast in the crock pot in a few hours for dinner tonight - that way I have my "me" day to sew.

What is being served at yours? We can eat "mac & cheese" - it is one of my favorites! Mary will get us later! LOL

Jana, so happy to see you have the table set and the coffee/tea ready..And your dinner sounds great..But, what is Razzleberry pie?...
I had to laugh at eating "mac n cheese"...You know what happens when the chief "cat" is away........Better enjoy, she'll be back soon.....

As far as dinner in this house, it might happen, it might not....I'm going to a late lunch with some friends and we all know, when I eat out, dinner usually doesn't happen......But not to worry, there is enough pulled pork for a couple more sandwiches and always a fairly good choice of soup, Jim won't go hungry.....

Last night at the card party, they had a salad bar/buffet and cake for dessert..I don't eat the cake and always bring it home and one of the other ladies gave me her's so Jim was once again in "goodie heaven".....

Hello ladies.A frosty morn here but sunny & warming.

JANA I read about the bacon & meat man in Park.Wish we had one .C.A. loves his bacon & thick sliced.Would be wonderful.

IRISH Sounds like the party was a success.And Jim made out too.LOL

I just finished my 3rd little doll quilt this morning.Great day to sew.

We will have our homemade veggie soup.It is full of good veggies & beans too.DH will have his s'mores.....Becca

Razzleberry pie is a mix of raspberries, blackberries or boysenberries. We are planting boysenberry brambles - they are our favorite! Raspberries grow very well here too, and they are getting planted as well.

Good Evening All.......would you believe it.....its still raining.....

Weatherwise....it has not been a very good few days.....and apparently there is worse to come......70 miles gales and still more rain come Saturday sunday and Monday......

Have had a migraine the last couple of days......don't get them very often thank goodness.....but they certainly take the wind out of your sails when they arrive.....and make you feel so washed out after.....but ok now back to fighting fit...(fingers crossed)

JANA.....your dinner sounds just the thing for today.....I don't mind bringing my own plate....I"ll even bring it back home to wash up......

My Aromatherapy course was due to start last Monday.....it was cancelled again for the third time.....but.....still have hopes for next Monday......

Becca.....now going to start a Dolly Quilt for Willows Christmas bundle.....want to do several doll outfit sets in about 4 different colours......

Late again! I got busy and here I am...

I fixed ham, potatoes, onions and green beans in the crockpot...and Earl made some cornbread! It was yummy!

For afters we will be going to Mama's Grill after the HS football game tonight for dessert...
