SUPPER CLUB - Fri, Oct 18th
Can you believe that November, Thanksgiving month, is only 12 days away?? Chriss is already practicing! They are having a big turkey dinner tomorrow, complete with guests!
Speaking of guests, ours left suddenly yesterday morning. I think they got the hint that they'd been seriously overstepping guest boundaries here. I love company. You all come visit any time! But they (HE!) were not good guests.
I have a box of fresh, sliced mushrooms still and some cooked chicken. So I think I'll finally make that mushroom/wine sauce, add in the chicken, and have it over pasta tonite. Last night was baked chicken, roasted winter veggies, and potato croquettes that I'd made from leftover mashed potatoes and frozen. They worked pretty good. I added everything I might put on a baked potato, plus an egg. I shaped them, rolled them in bread crumbs and froze them. DH liked!
Hope you like what hits your plate tonite!

Good late morning from chilly, but very sunny, SW. Pa....This would be purrrfect weather to take a long ride but I have a wedding rehearsal later to that's not going to happen, at least today....
Mary, that's strange about your company but I wouldn't loose any sleep over it....What do they say about company and garbage???? Last night I picked up a magazine and there was a recipe for chicken/noodle casserole and it looked pretty darn good.....
As far as our dinner, probably won't be one! We are taking a short ride to the farm to get some apples and other goodies and hopefully we'll pick up something that can be called "dinner".....Wish we lived closer to Chriss.....
Happy eating..................

Good Morning all.Sunny day here low 60's.Next week the temps are to dip.Hope so but I must get ALL my plants in & I hate doing that as there is no good place to put them.Plus I must repot them so no snakes or insects come with them.
MARYz There is a saying company is like fish after 3 days they smell.
I too want to go to CHRISs.Sounds good. But my beef stew smells good too.Added potatos, carrots, & onions.Made enough for left overs so tomorrow will be covered......Becca

Good afternoon!
We are practicing too around here - hanging the Christmas lights early! Before the snow falls.
Tonight we are eating out - over at Matt's house - it is his BD tomorrow - he is turning 35 - I am not old enough to have a son that age! LOL Anyway, we are having tacos and the trimmings. The boys will go and get Grandpa for dinner too. All the rest of the family will show up after dinner for cake and ice cream. There is quite a few of us, so come on over - you will blend right in!
Just got back from a funeral and need to get stuff done before dinner -
Enjoy!
