Thursday, October 17

Post by suzette58 » Wed Oct 16, 2013 9:56 pm

Good morning everyone.
I started my drug study finally yesterday. My eyes a checked out fine and I started the medicine when I got home. Have to take it with food and it could make you drowsy. The good part is my surgeon operated on the eye doctor's wife for breast cancer as well. So, I got to talk to someone that has dealt with my dr. I have one more block to finish up for the Breast cancer quilts and then I will get started on the quilt for my co-worker's daughter. It dealt so good to work in my studio yesterday. Have to get ready for work. Have a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone. Wow, where did this week go? It's Thursday already and I feel like I'm still on Tuesday, lol.

Suz-Now that the study has started, how long is it suppose to last? Nice to have someone who can give you first hand info about the surgeon. Enjoy your quilt studio today.

Lois-Thank you for the wonderful compliment on my quilt. I'm happy that you like it. They got your roof on fast. Blue...? I'm guessing they used the pro panel roofing...? Will you be posting the pics your son took of it?

I better finish getting ready for work. Prayers for everyone. God's blessings be with you.

Good Morning, all you beautiful ladies out there. It is now after 3 am and I have been awake since 2 am. Went to bed early so of course I woke up, "extra" early. LOL

Prayers for Pat today as she goes into surgery. Praying that the surgery is over quickly and she is on the road to recovery.
Pat........ may angels surround you today and God bless you always.

Suzette,...... hope the drug study goes well for you. Glad the eye apt wasn't bad and everything is ok with your eyes. Did the pills make you super drowsy? May God bless you as you journey down a new road with medical research. Thank you for being a part of something that could help so many others. Hope you get to quilt again today. It is such relaxing therapy for most of us.

Mary/Rosebud.....your pretty quilt is awesome. That was a lot of work but you did it so very well. What time do you go to work? Seems really early to get ready at 2;45 AM. I am not a morning person. LOL

Lois......have fun checking out that new roof. Now it can rain or snow or whatever, you are ready. Blue sounds like a pretty color for a roof. Nice that it is finished. You have a great day too.

Prayers for everyone today and always. May God bless you all in some special way today. Spent wed running errands all morning. Try to do lots in one trip but gets tiring sometimes to do too much.

Haven't had any more house hunters for over a week. We know God has a plan for our lives, but it is God's time schedule, not ours. And I am not all packed yet so maybe God is waiting on me.

Rod is getting so discouraged. His Efudex treatment on face is kicking in, face turning red and beginning to look like a bad sunburn. We know it is only going to get worse but if it takes care of the skin cancers, it is worth a little short term pain and down time out of the sun. He is off work for a few wks now too so bored as well. Please keep him in your prayers. The surgery on the worst skin cancer cite on neck is healing up. Next two dr appts on 30th.

Need to go back to bed and get some sleep. Take care everyone and smile as you waltz into a new day. It will make the rest of the world wonder what you are up to. Keep them guessing. May God bless you all. Love and hugs across the miles, Shirley Mae

ps Carole.......Sorry to hear about your infusion problems again. Rod had those 4 hr ones but think they were only every 3 months. If they don't run it in too fast, you don't ache as much. Right now he has not had any treatments for over a yr. Was on a one yr plan but stopped that one last yr. Praying that Medicare will get it right and you won't be in pain.

Hello and Goodmorning to all!

Hope Pat's surgery is very successful. Suzette, I will be thinking of you as you go through your treatment as well. How many weeks will it last?

Lyn: I read your post yesterday. Glad your clean-up is winding down.
Wow, you will be there way ahead of me. Donna down there, said that a lot of winter Texans are now arriving. Be safe in your travels. Hope it all goes well. You are due for some really good luck ahead.
Hope we get to leave on the 31st.

It'z hard to believe it is Thurs already. Time to do the uglies again. I should clean the floors every single day, since our little fur-boy sheds so much LOL

We are putting the boat on the trailer today and will be getting it wintrized next week. Yesterday was our last fishing day for this year. I was lucky to catch quite a few crappie and white bass this last week. At least we ended our season on a fun memory.

Well, time for a second cup of coffee.

Ken is starting the boiler today he says, we shall see.

Well the kitty is whining,,,coffee is needed,,,have a great day...XXXOOO
