SUPPER CLUB - Mon, Sept 30th
Well, Sept is really going out with a bang here! Wind, rain, lightening, thunder. Makes walking a new puppy every 2 hours such a joy! NOT!
I'm sitting here trying to decide about supper. I'm thinking maybe baked chicken, rice, and salad. If I can remember to take the chix out of the freezer between now and when I leave the computer! No guarantees there! lol!!
Hope you are having something scrumptious tonite!

Good afternoon -
Normally after a big family dinner like we had last night there are leftovers - well everyone loved it so much - they ate it all - BIL is finicky and he went back for thirds! I have a few bread rolls left and a little bit of mashed potatoes - so I guess that I will have to cook today - might stir up some version of a Shepherds pie - we will see -
The LA is up and ready for me - just need to pick a piece of fabric to practice on - Sarah will be here is a little while from work and I know that she wants to play with it!
Enjoy your day!

Well, tonight I don't even have to think about it! It is Dinner with the Pringles night...and it starts a new "list" for Winter. We'll be at Mama's Grill and telling our favorite places to eat to go on the list. I LOVE Mondays!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Mon, Sept 30th
Good late afternoon from slightly overcast but warm, SW. Pa....
Once again, I went out to lunch and I think the reason I'm so late, I was almost afraid to post what I had eaten....Yep, you guessed it, that banned food...And guess who will be eating the left overs for dinner....I could not believe the size of the sandwich, served with home made chips...I didn't even get to the bun and I was full so guess who isn't cooking again tonight.......And to make matter worse (if you're Jim), I haven't baked in 2 days...He's stuck with store bought cookies and ice cream.....
I imagine I'll be reprimanded but I'll try not to let it happen again (too soon).......
Happy eating..................

Today's dinner will start with a spinach salad, then lemon-herb grilled chicken, potatoes and broccoli. Maybe sugar free pudding for dessert.
Maryz - Wish the rain would come south and the dry winds would go away!
Jana - Sorry there are no leftovers!
Joanne - Good for you, dinner with the Pringles!
Irishgram - Hope you enjoyed eating the banned food! Sounds delicious to me.
Becca - Your dinner sounds good! I love gingerbread, DH not so much.
Enjoy Dinner Everyone!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Mon, Sept 30th
I made home made cole slaw, crab cakes, and twice baked potatoes...it was yummy. Since ken went wheat free i have been trying to find TASTY recipes that are gluten and wheat free. so I bought gluten free crackers and pulsed them into crumbs and used them in the crab cakes....they were awesome...some gluten free products are very close to ground up paper....but these are really good...they are called Van's . downside is most gluten free is pretty tasless and expensive all of your suppers do sound yummy.
