FUSIBLE BATTING
Has anyone else tried the fusible batting, and if so, do you like it?
I'm not thinking I'm liking it. I'd much prefer to use the spray adhesive. This stuff is sticky and I cannot get the fold lines out of it so my quilt backing has, and I'm sure my front will, have visible lines in it.
It might be okay for something very small, like a small wall hanging.
but since I have to do this on my kitchen floor, I don't really want to use my iron on my hardwood floors to get the layers together. This was all I found at Joann's. I'm sure there must have been other batting, but I never found it. Now I'm stuck with this stuff.

Re: FUSIBLE BATTING
Fusible is good for things where the backing doesn't matter.. tote bags, purses, wall hangings... but I have never used it for a quilt...
you can order batting online if you don't find it in the store.

I wouldn't try to use it for a quilt. I use it all the time for purses and wall hangings and other types of projects and it works great for me.

I make my own purses and wallets. The patterns usually call for fusible batting.
