Supper club, Sept. 9th, Monday........

Post by Irishgram » Mon Sep 09, 2013 4:14 am

Good morning from a very pleasant, warm, Fall day in Sw. Pa....

I guess I'm not surprised at not seeing Mary here this morning...I have a feeling, she's still puppy proofing the house...(I'm still picturing her, down on all 4s).....

Well, this is going to be a "out to lunch" day so for sure it's going to be something simple for dinner....I'm leaning towards spaghetti and meatballs...Couldn't be much easier, since I already have it made and just happen to find it in the freezer.....Jim will be happy.....As far as afters, that might come from the freezer also, butter pecan ice cream.....

So what are you finding in your freezer these days???

Happy eating..............

Good Morning IRISH & All the rest.Nice sunny day here.

Puppy Proofing is about like baby proofing.Lots to take care of.Our puppy once chewed on an electrical cord.Never did that again.

Started to go to town but decided to wait for another day.Have lots to do but did not feel like going.Just stayed here & worked, hope to get my little denium purses made.

Today will be leftovers finished up.I froze some to taste better later since we are tired of it.So nothing fell out of freezer but some went in.LOL Becca

Good morning!

Been missing from this table, but not the one at this house! LOL

Kids were over last night and I did a big meatloaf dinner - so we have leftovers for sandwiches - even have apple cake for a afters -

I need to make a cake for the activity day girls - we are having a Daddy Daughter dinner at the park nearby - sloppy joes, salad, chips and the cake. I have the frosting all done - froze what was leftover from the wedding cake a couple of weeks ago - so just need to bake the cakes. One layer will be chocolate and the other white - filled with chocolate cheesecake mousse - easy! The dinner is tomorrow night.

Enjoy

Jana - thanks for mentioning leftovers. We had stroganoff a couple nights ago and I think there's enough left for dinner tonight.

Rainy on Lake of the Woods today, so probably no fishing. Starting to put things away so we can leave later this week.

Ok, I'm finally back!! We had the Village Yard Sale this weekend...we set up Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was very slow, but the weather was beautiful.

It will be a longgggggg time before we have sloppy joes or chili again! lol!! We ate that for 3 days.

Tonight is Dinner with the old Pringles...at Bob Evans. Yummmmmm! I'm more than ready for a dinner out!

Here I am!! and you got it! I was downstairs on all fours - and in some instances flat on my belly - well not FLAT, it is MY belly and there's nothing flat about it anymore! - checking things out. Wow, everything sure looks different from 5" off the floor! So, while we're at it, we're vac'g under furniture, under cushion, aand really trying to make sure I've left no pins, etc for anyone to get. Then my brother called and aid let's go to lunch. Just got back and DH said, "well, that takes care of me for supper." and I thought, SUPPER! And here I am.

CAROL - Korma?? Explain, please. And yes, puppy will go walking with me. He will have his first shots when we get him. But I have a hunch it will be a few more weeks yet - or else it will be more like a 'carry' that a 'walkie'.

So tonite, I think we're good. maybe a bit of peanut butter on bread, but no worries here about what to cook! Nothing is what I plan!
