SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Sept 8th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun Sep 08, 2013 3:02 am

It feels like a fall morning today. Or I should say it SOUNDS like one. The air is different in the fall and sounds carry differently. It's coming!!

IRISH - you're right! Little No-Name-Yet will have us trained in no time at all! Everybody else has had no problem! lol!!

CAROL - I once had a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He ate shoes, belts, purses, toys, rugs, and part of our couch. We finally had to give him to a cousin who had a big farm and kids. I love the name Candy for a dog. It was on my short list if we got a female. but it sounds a little prissy for such a big tough guy as ours. ;o)

Dinner today? Well, we have hamburger in the freezer and buns on the counter. I'm thinking of combining those two. . . . and maybe some baked beans to go with. The warm days are fading, so maybe it will be fun to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and BBQ. Who's with me??

I have my redneck wine glass ready!! Are we drinking white or red wine? BBQ sounds like a good idea. I have two steaks in the freezer that should be used before I put the grill in the back of the Jeep. If we catch any 'mac'n cheese' they will go into the freezer.

Afternoon from Fall in SW. Pa...But from what I'm hearing, summer is to return and we'll be in the high 80s, low 90s by mid week......

Mary, Those buns and the burgers will go nicely together, one of our favorites.....AND, during the night, I woke up and thought of "Murphy" for your new furbabies name...Why that came to me then I have no idea but think about it....You being Irish, it's a great name...."Murphy Doodle", Murph for short......

Well, there's not going to be any cooking once again in my kitchen...We're leaving to visit with #3 DS and his wife and that always means lots and lots of junk food and maybe a pizza on the side.....My kind of eatin'.........

Happy eating...............
